Greetings all,

Previously if anyone had asked me I would have said that I preferred indica over sativa. (using very general terms)
but that was because I hadn't tried a good sativa!

I switched to growing sativa dom a couple of grows ago but wasn't happy.

Prior to this grow i thought I was growing Durban Poison but it was such a bad smoke I think I might have been gypped! I felt paranoid and edgy when smoking it and it was pretty bad all round. More hazy than high or stoned. I persevered through a couple of harvests - smoked it even though it made me para as I had nothing else

Luckily the last DP I grew mated with a male Skunk/Haze before I discovered it and I found one seed on the whole plant! There were probably more but I didn't find them. I've assumed it was a gift from the goddess

So, currently I am smoking a Durban Poison x Skunk Haze and it is a revelation! When I smoke it I feel happy, relaxed, surprisingly energetic and HIGH as a kite!

From now on I would like to grow a combination of indica and sativa plants so that I have a variety to chose from.

... I am fairly new to mj forums and all I can say is the revelations continue!

Funny to think I been smoking for about 20 years but never bothered to study up on what must be a large component of my blood and fatty tissue! lol

My fav. is usually Indica dom. , But I always grow a variety. Just harvested a Durban Poison , last week, and am less then 2 weeks away from pulling 4 fat BOG's " BlueMoonRock " girls.

I prefer growing indica plants, love that full and bushy look!

I did have one sativa last year, took forever to show sex, and a long time to finish... but it was worth it in the end, definetely the finest smoke I`ve grown.

I`m not really sure which I prefer smoking.... indica, sativa... I smoke so much I`m not really sure I get "high" anymore. lol
Probably indica though, I enjoy the relaxed feeling.

Just as long as its good!!!!

Hi Hi High! without a doubt... the choice for me is SATIVA *grins from ear to ear*... for this gal enjoys a HIGHER level of "high".

For indoor growing... check out TH Seeds "Sage". Stuff is a VERY sweet sativa buzz, easy to grow, good yeilds too. Haven't tried growing their new "sage n sour"... but with a faster finish time than Sage... sounds very yummy. Have also been enjoying HGF's Jah Herer... one of the better "Jack" hybrids tried. Nice buzz (if you dont let her run too long) and an all over "yummy" taste.

For me, when growing the indicas... usually they are for others... but I do smoke some Bubblegum (enjoy the goofey buzz it gives) and CaliO. Know that many claim CaliO is a "clear and up" buzz... ha ha ha, but not for me... hee hee hee... for me the CaliO's are much more like a "vitamin C laced fog" *grins*

*reaches up... starts shoving burning Sage joints through the computer screen to all of you.....* okies... must get back to work... have too many "quality control" issues to test my way through *grins*... so will soon be way too stoned to type.

Hard to say just one preference cause I believe it depends on 'mood' and time....I prefer sativa's for daytime, uplifting, buzzy highs full of energy, but come night time I like a nice indica to float away with.....

As for growing, love them ALL! Just have to have the knack for patience if growing long flowering sativas. BUT, there's a great sat dom that's real quick....C99.....around 56-60 days you'll have one heck of a sat dom!

Hi everybody,
I agree Dutchgrown, it always depends on the moment, time and space...
I prefer the Sativa, because I get oldfashion giggleshocks

and munchies.
With the "heavy" Indica strains I don't have that and I stop dreaming (at night,lol)...

Over all though indicas are easier to grow indoors IMHO and Bogglegum provides the best of both worlds anyways so I could smoke that all day and night...

the nicest weve had of late is some GRApefruit .. im sure its a mix of something satava dom... was not couch lock just up and happy. no idea of the origins of the genetics or who made it but a very nice job indeed............ i usually want the knock out indica for pain..........PEACE
