I've lost my microscope and I have bad vision but looking at them I don't see any amber. So I used my camera for some macros to look at. The pistils are around 10-40% brown, but from all the pictures I've taken I'm seeing quite a few amber looking trichomes.

It's blue cheese 8-10 weeks. Most people say their bc goes 10 weeks, and I'm at 8 right now. Check out a few pics and let me know what you would do.

i would take it 10 for an extra rich smell and taste, get it really stoney too, just watch for bud rot and yul do awesome. i always say when n doubt take at least an extra 7 days, good luck, d

Yeah them pistils are receding and the calix swelling,yeah another 9 days sounds & looks about right,Bummer not having the scope. I find go over too much and lose flavour/terpines etc..& more knock-out couch though. Depends on what ya like i suppose. yeah if you aint running a dehuuy, Be Careful' & Keep an eye on-em!

Without seeing more, I would guess 2 or 3 more weeks, why take down your hard grown bud early when you have already gone so long with her ?

Seed Banks finishing times are always optimistic and based on totally happy healthy plants, any setback they get usually sets back the Harvest time, so I always go on what they look like, never on the Calendar.

If you do not believe me, try keeping a part of one going for a week or two more than the others and check out the smoke. IMO the best buds are always visibly dominated by mature Resin, you can hardly make out the Calyxs or Pistils, just grey coloured THC, yours at the moment is just lightly dusted with the transparent sparkly pixie dust, you are totally on the right track, just be patient.

Yeah dude, you could well be right especially if he wants fully mature buds, plus the fact they are gonna pack on some weight. Another pretty good gauge is the pistills are usually 80-90 receaded & brown when i pick, but without the scope that is not a science. Id listen to 'ChaosC' if i were you dude.

I agree with all! Let them ripen some more. Your patience will payoff big time in the end. You could always cut a small arm off and let it dry then test. Then let the rest of the plant go to the 10 week mark and you will see the difference in finished product and cutting early! Hope this helps
