hi, i post this question to pick the brains of the collective...
The pain relief you achieve by consuming cannabis, is it pain relief the way i think of it? Or are you so stoned, that you forget about your pain?? i ask for several reasons... i can certainly understand anti-depressant properties that one would get from getting high. thats easy. also appetite stimulation and help with insomnia... but the pain relief...??? until March 2004, whenever i smoked pot, i never knew what strain, or if it was indica or sativa...it was whatever we got from the guy we bought it from...price kinda told us if it was ant good...we were just getting high. as a grower (newb) i am trying to understand the potential benefits from smoking the harvest. so far just a few grows, nothing spectacular...just indicas so far...i don't mean to ramble, but... the grape punch i grew is great...total couch lock full body stone! bogglegum is totally different...gets me giggling and permagrin all nite! the others i have grown are just fine...get me real wasted, too! hehe i guess the info i'm after is: what strains, specifically really give pain relief? are they all sativas? am i after a 'haze' or a 'kush'?? just thinking...thanks for your thoughts.

You want an indica Sleepy. Get hold of a pure Black Domina.
I'm now working with a plant that's only 1/4 Black dom and I'm crossing it again to reduce the instant absence of existence it generates. |

Hwody Sleepy dude!
Good mornin to ya, have you tried the edibles yet ? You can mwk your own butter and then make whatever you wish with it. I started smoking again for pain relief and the indicas work netter for me. The edibles are entirely different, way more body, i ate on a week ago and could have done with half! I couldnt move for 3 hours! I got my cookies from a club here in Cali and not all cookies / candy bars are created equal, i have found the best. Anyway look into edibles for physical pain it might work better for ya.peace bonz

Hiya Sleepy
Man, I hear ya! I've got some nerve pain and bone pain, the bear for me has been the nerve pain, and tw - although sativa - helps a lot with that. So far I haven't found another strain that's real good for nerve pain, but I'm givin it a good try Definitely I agree, the indicas seem best for bone and muscle pain. So give me 2 vapes on the tw and another 2 of the kush and maybe I'll be awake to enjoy my comfort for a few minutes before ...zzzzzzzzz... Bonzo - you ain't kiddin there. I've sampled club cookies twice now, and I definitely did not get the high octane batch.... Next time my 2 ladies are out of town for a weekend I'm gonna make some cannabutter and my own treats! |

Another good one for pain is Mr nice from sensi seeds. Its like hash on a stick lol. Once you start toking it you can feel your muscles loosen up and your body aches just start to melt away. Goodluck in finding a strain that works for ya. Peace and *bong*

I grew out the G13 Pog back X what ever, seeds that I won yada yada yada..
(see thread in outdoor) I do not think that it is a pain killer weed. It is mild but very very pleasant, Is definately not couch lock and the high does not last for very long and it does not cause munchies. The G13 Ice hash is much better then smoking the plain weed, All I can say about it is that its pleasant. But then I do not have chronic pain thank god so I dont know- perhaps it does help??? |

should I
A) bang my head against the wall B) drop a rock on my toe c) knock nails and then miss the nail- whereby catching my thumb with the hammer, Then smoke G13 and see if my pain is relieved? Only taking suggestions if it non permanent injury |
