NY to Oregon
I was born in upstate NY and lived there for 51 years. I have been arrested several times for my medicine during this war on drugs. It looks like Oregon has the most liberal laws. I am thinking about moving there but have not got a clue where. I like country compared to city. I am a POW of the WAR ON DRUGS. My daughter lives in Portland but I have not visited her yet. I know it rains a lot there. I wonder how far I would have to travel to get to a little drier climate. The homes in Portland in foreclosure still cost at least double what they do here. If I make the move should I expect trouble if I stay within the laws? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Get a medical card and all is good. Don't advertise you are growing and no one will bother you. Dryer?? Hood River and east of there for the dryer weather.
Visit your daughter and drive around. You need to see it before you commit. IMO. |

Check out the South part of Oregon, west of the Cascades, we have THE best weather in the state, we get all 4 seasons, and no where near the rain most the north part gets, our annual rain fall down here is around 14 inches, where most the northwestern state is much damper...Our humidity is par for growing meds as well...Here is just a small, small sample of what we do out here MEDICALLY....

Thanks for the help,
I intend to check out each city you guys name when I go to look. I just picked up a felony for homegrown. Here anything over 10 pounds is a class C felony and this is my second and last. As soon as I can legally leave this State I will. Are the local cops looking the other way? I think I will stay within the law as that looks reasonable. Is indoor safer than outdoor? Thanks and keep it comin. |

I also heard a rumor that some people are putting a single male in someones garden to ruin their chances of getting meds to the patients. Is this common? Do you need to be ready all the time?

I would love to have a tunnel like that. I am now looking for southern Oregon since I am told there is much less rain there. I have checked many cities but have not found one yet that meets the under 20" per year. Could you steer me towards any towns or cities in that ballpark? Mr.Sportster, I want to bring my stock 80" '39 Flathead with me. I think I could handle that.
Thanks all |

if there is too much rain just add more vermiculite and perlite, and gravel to create better drainage.
