I hate Harper, all the shit ass policies that the Bush admin did that are getting thrown away Harpers cronies are putting into play. Makes a lot of sense. Liberals have gone center right with their new piece of shit leader. I don't think he got the memo that being an opposition isn't about agreeing with everything they do.

Actually the Bloc and NDP argued tenaciously against it in the house of commons, as well as 1 or 2 liberals. The libvs made a deal to vote for it. Its being reviewed in the Senate right now, there is a real chance that they will make amendments to it, especially for weed. 5 plants = 6 months mandatory? That would not fly too well. I could care less about the other stuff.

There is no way in hell this bill would fly, lets see how many people would be incarcerated for simple hobby growing. If this passes I'll be moving, spain here I come!!!

I have posted updates on C-15 here.

You should be aware that the provisions of Bill C-15 include a mandatory sentence of NINE months for a grower of even one plant if:

1 - trafficking is proved and:

a) you grow in rented accomodations or in a house that is in your spouse's name; OR
b) a child is present in the premises; OR
c) a potential for a public safety hazard exists (and that could easily mean ANY grow under artificial lights and timers); OR
d) a trap is somewhere on the premises.

While traps are not common, factors a,b and c are so commonplace as to be more the rule than the exception to the rule. Even one sprouted seed exposes you to a charge and mandatory sentence for nine months under those circumstances.

You should also know that the provision regarding making bubble hash, pressed hash, hash oil or BHO add one additional year, no matter the number of plants.
