xxd will become famous soon enough
Here is a few shots from tonight. They were transplanted last night into 2 liter pots. Here is my soil mix for this phase:

25% Bio Nova coco
25% peat moss
25% compost
25% EWC
2 TBS Dolomite lime per 3.75 liters
2 TBS PSG (with Rock powder added) per 3.75 liters
1 TBS P guano per 3.75 liters

Mix well and add Ton clay gravel until I like how it feels.

I mix all of this together and water with an ACT made of Seaweed extract and EWC with molasses added.

Thanks all for coming by today.

Hey xxd,

Got the "purple seeds" pack that Mandala advertised earlier this year. Only got a lavender colored male. Didn't get a chance to use his pollen :(
Hope that you get the ultra-coveted purple pheno! I'll keep lookin with the 8 seeds I have left

my approximate mix is:

60litres loam based potting compost (john innes 3 brand)
30litres coir/coco based potting compost
20litres composted green waste/homemade garden compost
5litres worm casts
5litres vermiculite
5litres perlite
dolomite lime (varies according to how the above mix tests for ph)
(all mixed thoroughly, very lightly watered and left to sit for a while)

I should add that it does seem true that all Mandala varieties can survive very well on basic rations...

I do vary the mix depending on availability of ingredients and whether outdoor growing or indoor.

Your plants are looking really good and healthy

I consider myself "economical," so we used the Organic Miracle-Gro stuff. It was good, except for the little flies. However if you buy the stuff that is from indoors, you won't get the flies. Also, add some perlite. I thought that the MG was a bit dense. The Mandala #1 pheno I got really loved to eat...The soil was good, overall. Roots pokin out of the pots.

Mandala #1 is quickly becoming my favorite plant, light eater, fast grower, and a heavy yielder:

Here's one that was vegged just 1 week in coco, next to a 5-gallon bucket:

Here is a table of them, only 8 fit in 1 4X, under a 1KW light:

Here they are at 6 weeks flowering:

Thank you for stopping by. You guys could make your own soil, maybe that would help against the flies.
I think my dirt is a bit too dense as well, the roots could be thicker. But other then that they are doing very good.
