Asparagus crowns?
High all
 Moved into new house and found some old asparagus crowns in a bag that were stuffed away. They have few white asparagus growing (only reason i know what they are) but not sure how old they are... do you think they would be cool to plant out and maybe start producing this season?? I know it normally takes 2-3 years to get asparagus. Cheers!

plant away, you might get a couple but i would leave it alone for a while at least to allow it to replenish its nutrients and really start to take hold
then in a couple years you will have a nice asparagus bed for sure

Plant and plant away. Asparagus love compost and welll rotted manure.

any idea if they're 1st or 2nd year crowns?
don't harvest the first season, and only once the second.

No idea. Found em stuffed in a drum with old clothes, tarps etc.
There are some almost full grown white asparagus poking out of some.
