Wow..I'm A Millionaire?
got this in the email today..I normally don't get any spam either..very interesting.
Attn: I am BARRISTER.JECOB PHILIP, a solicitor at law. I am the personal attorney to ENGENEER HEROTH ,a national of your country who was the financial controller with Shell development company in Nigeria. Here in after shall be referred to as my client. On the 16st of August 2002, my client, his wife And their three children were involved in a car accident along Sagbama express road. All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost there lives. Since then I have made several inquiries to his country's embassy to locate any of my clients extended relatives, this has also proved unsuccessful. After these several unsuccessful attempts, I decided to track his last name over the Internet, to locate any member of his family hence I contacted you. I have contacted you to assist in repartrating the money and property left behind by myclient before they get confisicated or declared unserviceable by the bank where this huge deposits were lodged. Particularly, the finance company where the deceased had an account valued at about 10million dollars has issued me a notice to provide the next of kin or have the account confisicated within the next ten official working days. since I have been unsuccesfull in locating the elatives for over 2 years now I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you have the same last name so that the proceeds of this account valued at 10million dollars can be paid to you and then you and me can share the money.70% to me and 30% to you I have made all necessary legal rrangements that can be used to back up any claim we may make. all I require is your honest cooperation to enable us see this deal through. I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law. PLEASE ON YOUR REPLYING, DO SEND TO ME YOUR FULL NAMES AND ADDRESS, YOUR PRIVATE TEL/MOBILE/FAX NUMBERS INCLUDING YOUR COUNTRY AND CITY CODE I wish this was legit...if it is, cool..if it isn't, then I don't know why someone would waste their time pulling a joke like this. what do you all think? |

Are you black? Probably not so it's a good bet you're not related in any way! Most everyone who's ever had their email address available somewhere has received one variation or another of this. My dumbass nephew fell for it and lost a grand!

A scam indeed
If they can get your email adress it would be just as easy to get your phone # and call, or get your adress. If a lawyer wanted 7 million dollars of my money, he should at least come visit me face to face.
