I wanna whip up a batch of brownies

for my upcomming fishing trip...but i had a few questions...Would i have to eat more then i smoke?
ive only smoked bud so im not sure at all how much bud to use

...i'd really appreciate it if someone could

me...and also...is there any difference in the high in eating as to smoking?

It says and oz of bud to 48 oz of oil...but i only need like 1 1/2 cups of oil...so i figured if i used about 7 grams it would be pretty nice...wut do u think? and do i HAVE to cook the oil for 2 hours? or would a shorter time be ok

you'll be happy you did, the oil is risky, too many things can go wrong. Butter leaves room for error and is healthier, still have a bottle of crisco in the cupboard after reading that tek @og though. lol

use an ounce or more or otherwise make a firecracker to try it out with a g or so...

search "firecracker peanut butter" @ og i guess.

I make an ounce of bud trim to a pound, (four sticks) of butter. You boil a pot of water and thro in your butta and then when it rolls into a boil thro in your trim and boil or simmer for forty five minutes. Then filter the grass out thru cheezecloth and place in the fridge for a couple hours till the butter hardens and lift the butter off of the water which is full of nasty grassy shiz and remelt your butter into a jar or the like. Enjoy and stay safe!

I've been eating more than smoking lately, what I do is take the half cup of oil called for in the recipe(check the different brands find one with the most oil, alot i saw wer only quarter cup of oil). I heat it up to 350-400 degrees, I use a candy thermometer to check temperaure I
drop about 7-10 grams of trim/shake in and keep the temperature around 400 for
2 minutes then i strain the pot out and let the oil cool, then make according to recipe. they totally blow me away, it's almost like taking pain pills without the negitive side effects. The only thing negitive I have noticed is that I think these brownies might be causing me to have really stinky farts

I'd say you get higher off eating it, but it is a different feeling than smoking

The last time I made "brownies", they were freagin' awesome! I just followed a recipe I found on OG, "CrockPot Butter"??? or something like that anyway.....
Here's what I did; first freeze the intended pot (budtrim, leaves, smaller flowers) overnight then chop it up real fine (I used about 12 grams of G13xHashPlant) then have your crockpot preheated on high (350 degrees) with about 2- 2 1/2 cups of water and 2 sticks of butter and then add your bud stir in and cover leave on high for two hours (stirring ocasionally) then turn it to the low setting for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, strain thru a cheesclothe (DO NOT Squeeze the butter thru it, just let it drain on it's own or you'll have a nasty greenish tasting butter) into a platic cup (that's smaller at bottom than top) place in fridge overnight, then carefully pop out the cannabutter puck by gently squeezing the sides of the cup , gently scrape off the "green slime from the bottom of the puck", and whala! you have cannabutter!
I use (Duncan Hines fudge brownie mix) melt the butter in a microwave 10-20 secs. add 1/3 cup to your mix and bake as the instructions say and BAM! You've got some KickAss brownies (depending on the strain you use)
I cut the brownies into 3"x3" squares and feed everyone at least 2 brownies each, and then wait....NO SMOKING POT untill you feel the brownies kicking in (about an hour) take a walk to get your blood flowing and then sit back and enjoy the ride!
The last time I made these, the buzz lasted about 12 hours and it was HEAVY! We smoked 1 joint of the G13xHP (between 4 of us) after the brownies started working there magic and it just jump started the "out-of-this-world-buzz"!
Different strains will give you different buzzes, but this way is a great way to make cannabutter.
