I live in Melbourne and all I can grow outdoors this season is Ducksfoot and some bagseed I've dropped at a few spots. I still havent put the DF in and wont be able 2 for another 2weeks. Do you think I'll be able to get a half decent yield of the plants seeing as I'm planting them so late?

Yes i do , its a sativa dominant strain that is very vigerous in growth , as long as you feed it right you should do very well even with a late start ./

Thanks mate, been a little worried lately cos I've never planted this late in Melbourne. Also DM, have you ever topped the DF? I'm thinking I'll just leave them to grow out as bushes but if you or anyone you know has topped them let us know how it went. Thanks again DM, M_M...

this is a bagseed plant grown last year planted at the start of November

yielded just over 6oz's and here is one planted in dec only got about 2 zip's from this one

You should have no probs topping the mighty duck MM,, she's a very robust strain,, I lost count how many times I pinched off the grow tips on my last one.
she still ended up a couple of meters tall.

They're coming on strong, a few didn't pop (7) but still if I end up with just 3 of these girls I'll be very content. Looks like the weather this year is going to favour vegetative growth so they should catch up a bit from the late planting. Going to transplant them into a predominantly coco mix and feed em hydro nutes. (Ionic, after shaunM told me it automatically buffers the PH so I won't have to worry bout lockout) Smurf, those bushes are BEAUTIFUL! I'll be happy if mine reach half that size. Also have a couple of seedlings going of a X I did years ago and as soon as they broke ground I was happy to see the backs of the cotyledons were purple aswell as the first leaves, deep, deep purple. Hoping to put on a half decent growshow for everyone....
