Maximum height for a tunnel/hoop greenhouse
Hello,
Anyone know how tall I can make a bamboo or PVC bender type greenhouse and have it still work? In other words, it can't blow over and has to hold itself together. Is 16 feet at the top a problem if it's only 22 feet wide at the base? Thanks spanishwilly |

Using pvc from ground to ground will make each hoop about 45ft long so you`ll need to use a reasonably large tube diameter. If the hoops arent rigid enough, the wind will push the whole thing flat and at 16ft high it`ll catch a fair amount of wind
