How does a strain/plant make it on the cover a magazine without anyone ever growing it but the breeder himself?

im sure madzing works VERY hard on producing his strains, so how can you knock his strain for being in a mag before it has been released to the PUBLIC.

with cannabis growing and breeding there are inner circles you know, even if you dont like that fact, the people who know madzing best will have first oppertunity to grow it, to make sure its a good enough plant for the PUBLIC to purchase.
