Growing Veggies in the grow room?

Anyone have any experience growing veggies in their indoor grow room? I just germed some tomato seeds that i want to flower in the side light of my flower room using old soil/runoff nutes.

My friend mentioned there might be a possibility of cross pollination though so if that's the case unfortunately the tomatoes will have to get chopped . Anyone have any ideas?

i don't think you would have a problem cross pollinating a tomato and bud. I grow tomatoes, peppers, squash and watermelon inside w/ no issue at all. All the veggies are in their own grow room....the bud is in a seperate location.

Without the help of a dedicated geneticist, I highly doubt you'll be creating hybrid tomato-cannabis seeds.

Damn i was hoping to cross breed my favorite fruit/flower.. haha kidding of course but thanks for the input.

I guess on another note anyone have any tips for self-pollinating indoor veggies? While i have grown plenty of tomatoes outdoors and plenty of cannabis in i have never tried this before so any input helps.

That is something you can do in an indoor garden! You can use a qtip and just go flower to flower basically, just rubbing up against the insides where where pollen and pistils are! Your qtip will collect and distribute pollen as you go along!

Good info. Che we use a small artists brush when hybridizing chillies indoors. Cannabis and chillies don't hybridize,,, neither do tomatoes.. lol

The only problems you will really encounter growing veggies indoors are the pests and diseases associated with the veggies... these might invade ya ganja. Otherwise its a good use of space/light if you have it.

Thanks for the input everybody i think ill start posting pics of how it goes. I am starting two kinds of tomatoes grape and another variety called Arkansas Traveler which is an heirloom i believe.

I have 4k in a 7wx17l room which is full of ganja but there is enough room for a tomato or two! Well thanks for the help again it will be a while until i flower them but ill post some pics along the way.

Hi

Ideally ,, grow the Arkansas Traveler plants separately and keep seed from the fruits. Then as a heritage seed guardian you could share them with others growers

peace n love
