somango
hi there.
ive been growing somango for a few years now but havent seen much info on this strain, which i love so much,so i decided to post a smoke report of my latest somango harvest, and add some fucts about the strain. i found somango to have to phenotypes. one turns complitly black during flowering and had a sickly sweet smell to it but wasnt very potent and didnt have a taste i liked. the other pheno also turn black on some fan leafs but mostly redish with buds that are more light in color and very dense well covered with trichomes. the trichomes arent that long but are very fat. the buds are superdense and very tight on the stem. the smell of the dried product isnt very powerfull untill you break bud open then it explodes with citrucy exotic type smell, its avery complex smell, not boring at all. tastes just like it smells with a hint of tobbaco sweetnes to it. hits me fast and goes strait to my head.a day brightner type weed, but with nice body efects as well, makes me stand up. so we got a buitifull plant with a nice but powerfull stone, exelent taste, very dense buds. i recomend growing it. final rezults- taste-10 potency-8 yeald-7.5 smell-7 bag apeal-8 |

That somango sounds sweet and looks beautiful. Really like the colors she put off for you. Would some of the color have to due with a cold room or do you think it has to due with the strain. Good growing Peace

That's a nice report. Dr. Dis right we don't read too much about Soma's strains. I myself will be growing one of soma's strains this fall. White Light X G-13. Do you know anything about it? Anyway Nice to meet you and I hope you have many more reports for us. And don't forget to enter it in our forth comming Strainguide. Thanks, Smokey.

thanks guys. the color of somango always comes out about 3-4 weeks into flowering.
at the moment i use AC to cool my room as the outside temp are 30-40 deg cl. but the room has a constant temp of 25 cl. i gave out many cuttings to friends and they always show those colors soil, hydro no matter how. very buitifull plant to look at and very interesting to grow.though its not a plant i grew all the time but come back to it once in a while. the only other soma strain i am familiar with is nycd which i love and would rate higher then somango but they are realy so diffrent plants that it doesnt do justice to compare them. |
