Aeroponic scrog questions

Due to nosey people I am breaking down my room and will be finding a new place soon. I went from Coco to Aero/NFT and the aero/nft is the shit, easy transplanting, faster veg and no medium to dispose of.

Since I have to move anyways I want to try some vert and use my old rails if possible. Also I want to reduce the number of plants I am running.

My modded Stinkbud system.

What I was thinking is using 6 rails in a hexagon with either 1 or 2 plants per rail depending on if my girl gets her card so I can be fully legal. I would silicone some plastic over the unused holes.

1st question is Can Ez-clone red spayers used horizontal.

2nd should I keep posts straight up and down or tilt em back a lil to add a nft like effect?

3rd Are the 4" posts big enough for the roots hang with a 1/2 piece of pvc for the sprayers down the side.

I don't wanna drill holes in the rail just yet in case I want to switch back.

i would make a circle out of 6 inch pvc with a slight tilt to drain to the res to stand the rails in.

My awesome drawing.

Also is the footprint for lights still the same as growing vert. IE.... a 600 is 3 foot by 3 foot horizotal or 3 foot by 360degrees vert a 1000 4x4 or 4x360degrees vert?

check out a colloseum grow i think this is what your trying to do. if you have limited plant numbers though , why not do a krusty or veg out longer under more light?

reason for vert is sounds like a fun new tweaker project. If I find vert to be fun and productive I will trying to design a even better vert system. Space is to be determined. My room now which I have take down is 9x9 divide into a separate flower and veg area. My light is gonna be vertical of course.

I am a project guy except as I have gotton older I like designing and planning more then building. Being a electrician and doing competative powerlifting has taken its toll for me being not to old. Hence my Medical Card.

I have for lights a 400w CMH I veg with and 1000w C&C and 600w digital.

As a rule of thumb, 600W will penetrate 30". That would give you a 5ft circle. I have 5ft height w/ pipes. Allowing some extra for the plant farthest up, using 2 600s vertical. Would be interesting to try your 6 and 400 CMH together. Always wanted to do that -- you could be the guinea pig !!
Slanting pipes back a little for the NFT sounds like a good idea to me. 4" should be fine. And don't know about the specific sprayer you mentioned, but I'd give them a shot until proven wrong. Give some thought on your pump choice. Be sure to figure head/volume.
Bet you enjoy and come up w/ improvements too. Sounds solid.

I think Vertical lighting would help you out alot.

I am growing vertical lighting now and will keep you posted.

When i took my hood off one thing was on my mind, Why would i spend so much money on hoods to block light (if it isnt closed system it makes no sensE)

Now it looks like I have 4 stars hanging in the space that is the universe of my ganja room

Damn

So much more light
