Since no one seems to have a diffinitive answer on what strains are high cbd producers maybe I can help. I currently have 4 cbd strains I run. 2 of them are Cannatonic phenos from resin seeds. Out of a bag of 10 seeds we got 4 with elevated levels of cbd.we kept 2. Our highest is a 15-1 ratio. Everything is lab tested. Check out pic album krx grow op or check out www.thekindrelief.com. it's honestly not expensive or incredibly difficult to find cbd strains. Just have to be patient in phenohunting, also they grow alot like a rudaralis. Looks like you screwed up but its just the way they grow.

I'm not that qualified to comment because i used to smake skunk and hash and african of all the varieties that arrived in the UK... and these days i like to grow big plants but i don't smoke them unless i am very bored and it's grey...

Anyways, this thread mentions CBD in Finola. I got a kilo of farmers hemp in full flower from a field as a tobacco substitute, and it has very interesting psych fx...

I dont know if it's CBD or what, but it can make me feel heavy stoned without fast thoughts, a pure spliff of it properly makes me stoned, although mentally clearer than THC, like short concentration problems = no. i can do 3d design without forgetting what i am doing.

i wrote a thread with teh various agricultural hemp strains, i figure there are 5-10 of them, this one was from france, perhaps isreali.

Sometimes even CBD strains can have phenotypes with higher THC to CBD than expected therefore it is important to get them tested and to keep that single clone with the right ratio of THC to CBD.

CBD beats out clozopine as an anti-psychotic and has few extrapyramidal side effects.

I tried Finola once, it was useless for me, a few % CBD and a tiny bit of THC. I know Finola pretty well. I gave it to Jace up in Finland. It does grow a lot of seeds per hectare, and is very early, that is why I created it.

Could possibly be used in other ways...paper, materials, biofuel.

Finola is kind of a weak sister but it makes great F1 hybrids.

This is so strange. I hope that there was a big mistake and that it doesn't set research back.

"One person is brain dead and five others are seriously ill after taking part in a drug trial for an unnamed pharmaceutical firm at a clinic in north-west France.

The French health ministry said the six patients had been in good health until taking the oral medication. It did not say what the new medicine was intended to be used for, but a source close to the case told AFP that the drug was a painkiller containing cannabinoids, an active ingredient found in cannabis plants.

The health minister, Marisol Touraine, said on Friday the six had been taking part in a “trial of an oral medication being developed by a European laboratory” in Rennes, Brittany. The patients were admitted to hospital at the beginning of this week.

The ministry said the test was carried out by a private establishment “specialised in carrying out clinical trials”. Local media reported that the trial took place at the Biotrial clinic.

The trial was intended to test for side-effects of the new drug. All trials on the drug at the clinic have been suspended and the French state prosecutor has opened an inquiry.

The study was a phase one clinical trial, in which healthy volunteers take the medication to “evaluate the safety of its use, tolerance and pharmacological profile of the molecule”, Touraine said. She is travelling to Rennes where she will give a press conference on Friday afternoon.

Medical trials typically have three phases to assess a new drug or device for safety and effectiveness. Phase one entails a small group of volunteers, and focuses only on safety. Phase two and three are progressively larger trials to assess the drug’s effectiveness, although safety remains paramount.

Every year thousands of volunteers, often students looking to make extra money, take part in such trials. Mishaps are relatively rare, but in 2006 six men fell ill in London after taking part in a clinical trial into a drug developed to fight auto-immune disease and leukaemia.

Agence France-Presse contributed to this story"

Synthetic cannabinoids of an unknown type, undisclosed drug company, clinical trials (of what, exactly). Doesn't sound like it has a damn thing to do with weed. Are dangerous cannabinoids possible? Wouldn't surprise me a bit but you won't find them in the plant.
