Lemonade...
I ask you, is there ANY beverage that can quench a powerful thirst more quickly and thoroughly on a hot day than a well made glass of lemonade?
I think I just experienced a brief flash of nirvana... Truly nectar of the gods. |

Hal
Add some pureed strawberries (or any berry) and you'll really think you've experienced nirvana! CC

Try a Persian melon for true "nectar of the gods." White fleshed, thin rind and sweet Nirvana. But.....a warning.......they are addictive.

LazLo
I've tried and tried to grow melons in our gardens but with the level of moisture (even during the summer months) and the inherent 'powdery mildew' curse it's always a 'hope & a prayer' at best sadly enough. CC

one might also try adding chopped fresh mint leaves. it really adds to the refreshing component.
