My setup: Lighting = 3 x 600 Watt in cooltubes (See picture) Plant Nutrition = HESI COCO Growing media = Coco in 11 liters pot, with drippers. ![]() This is my first coco grow, I got some questions.. 1, How many Top-colas should I have? Im thinking of 4 for each plant. 2, What is a good ph-value for coco? 3, What is a good ec-value for coco? 4, Any tips would be nice! Thanks alot! |

Hey man why 1800w with 8 plants? How about you split that up into 3, have 8 plants around 600w x 3? your plant count will go up to 24 but worth it IMO. And why you veggin with a 400? Using all your lights would speed things up a lot.

I'll go in order from easiest to hardest....
2. Keep ph between 5.5-6.1 ish 3. Dependant on the plant but as a whole somewhere between 1.5-2.0+ ...check out stickys by REs and Head in the coco forum for great easy nute ideas with simple gen hydro ferts or do a search for lucas formula in the coco forum... 1. Your pic looks like a vert setup with lights in the middle of the plants? 3 x 600 in a vert setup I'd be expecting layers on top of layers of plants..If I were doing a vert setup with a single 600 I'd be doing about 8 plants, so with 3-600's I wonder how all those bulbs would be used......If you were to do 3 x 600 w/ 8 plants in a normal (light above plants) lighting setup, you'd want a lot of tops and well vegged plants, with tops spread apart (like scrogg'ish) before flipping to 12/12. 4. Welcome to ICMAG...the forum is GREAT. A lot of common questions have been answered, and there's a lot of incredible grows/setups to check out. This forum has a great search function...especially when you go to "advanced search" and search for words you want in titles (and can do that search specific to one forum...) Spend some time searching for basic answers, checking out what the big dogs are doing, and enjoy! |

Also with my way you wont need a cooltube, just place a floor fan under the bulb.

Yeah you right... But I cant use the flowering room for the next 8 weeks... I only have a 400 Watt in my veg-room.. There will be no time for taking clones.. I think.. Dont you think the plants will be enough big to use 1800w? Thanks for the comments |

You veg them for the next 8 weeks you will need a silo to finish them, they will be tall as he££, why not top them, use the tops as clones, by the time your flower rooms ready your clones will be 3ft tall plants, perfect for your lights.
Edit, it took me so long to post I didn't see you want huge plant's, ignore me ![]() PH for coco - 5.2 to 6.2, Most coco nuts find 5.8 ideal, I do. - don't ignore this bit.

Da Realness, your set-up is perfect but you only need 1 600 Vertical light, the plants can be as large as 5'-6' tall, your plants will give you 95% usable buds from top to bottom, without pruning, but that's another subject, use the other 2 600's for the same thing, then you can expand your growing.
If you really want to be smart, use 2 600's to flower and use 1 of your 600's as a veg. light and have you plants on a 30 day rotation (if your plants flower for 60 days). This will keep a perpetial cycle going. I hope I'm not over your head with this... |
