Spring is almost here so it´s time to sprout some seeds for these year summer spring grow. I´ve been working and amending the soil of the raised beds (13x4 ft each one), the first two are ready now, and there are two left.

in the first one i´ll grow corn, pumkins, melons and beans, in the second one mostly eggplants.

and some days ago (08-28-09) I prepared my seed starters and threw the seeds:

and this are the tomatoes, peppers and eggplants didn´t sprout yet, they usually take longer.

i´ll be updating this weekly, see you!

peppers have sprouted!

tomatoes are doing well:

eggplants didn´t sprout, so i sew another batch.

and this are the four raised beds ready, waiting for the seeds and young seedlings to come (starting next week):

a week later, things are going allright:

eggplants, only those 2 sprouted, but today the rest seemed to be starting:

Last week (09-12-09) I´ve started some cucumbers:

and some marygolds, because it´s nice to grow some flowers and also marygolds are a good thing to our gardens:
