potential yield blue streak

I am thinkin of trying an autoflower run because of time constraints and was wondering the potential yield from blue streak. Is an oz per plant possible under 1000 watts?

I think it's totally possible to get oz per plant under 1000w hps

Blue Streak I bought recently is really fast growing plant

I'm happy to hear that! Do you have any recommendations for good growth? How did you grow yours? Bucket size? What nutes? Hows the smoke? Thanks man--

i havent been on this site in nearly two months (which was right after i harvested my bluestreaks) but i suggest using a coco grow which i had done with great success and im sure most people on this site will agree with.

i had actually used several different mediums for my bluestreaks, these included...

100% coco coir

100% soil

100% peat moss

50/50 coco and soil

50/50 peat/soil

50/25/25 coco, peat moss and soil

50/25/25 soil coco and peat

the best results were from the 100% coco and the 50/50 coco soil
with the 50/25/25 coco soil and peat being a close third

all used same nutes, light exposure ,ect. only difference was the mediums.

My intention for that grow was to determine what was the best medium for that particular strain, and i concluded that it was the Coco due to the fact that their root systems love it(the root masses of the plants that had a lot of Coco were much larger than the soil heavy grows, and they also seemed to grow much faster). Which if you do your research is a very important aspect of AF cultivation. Plus, since Coco has virtually no nutes it is ideal for a very controlled grow. Also you can treat it as almost a hydroponic system due to the way it handles water, its not nearly as easy to overwater a coco grow as is is soil.

I hope this helps, and i wish you the best of buds.

By the way with a 1000w hps (which seems like a bit of over kill for just about any AF) I'm confident that you will receive SOME plants that reach about 1 oz. Though with that kind of setup its gonna come down to genetics more than anything, so maybe after some selective breeding you could get some consistency as far as yield. In your first grow you can probably expect anywhere from 10g's to possibly as much as 30. I had received on average about 14 to 20. biggest being ~30 smallest ~6.

10 - 30 is what we have gotten but i think the low yield was out falt fornot giving em enough space

What did you think about taste and smell with each medium used.

I have tried to make the switch to Canna-Coco products with some better results with 12/12 strains then what I got from the old FoxFarm crapola as I am more of a plug-n-play kind grower so I get whats in a bag eawsy peasy jap-n-easy.

But where I have some major disturbing problems is with the starting of seeds during the first two weeks of life. They do fine for about 10 days and then all of a sudden the stems at medium top gets thin and it falls over and dies. Because I do not have anything smaller then a 5ml shot glass I make a gallon and split it and add more water PH it and use. But I think I was over watering ?

So after losing a 100 seeds of various strains I got desperate and bought a bag of FoxFarm and plan to grow the plants in beer cups and then when sexed transplant them to two gallon buckets of the coco and finish. What do you think or anyone think about this ?

It saddens me that I even need to come here and point this out, again.

The grow I was referring to was my only bluestreak grow, I had to quit growing due to a scare involving a freebie White Widow i got with my order that was discovered outside by my land lord and later reported to the police (though of course i denied everything and wasn't convicted of anything, thank god. blamed it on some unknown hooligans).

Though from my experiment the best tasting bud came from the 50/25/25 soil coco peat mix, but my main goal in that grow was to determine best yield, fastest growing and least demanding combination of mediums. As I stated I kept everything constant aside from mediums. As this was more of an experiment than anything, mostly for information that i would use in future AF grows like the newer bluestreak and the up coming Sourbubble ryder (BTW is it even still called that, as i said i haven't been on in awhile)

thanks for the info-- iam feeling foolish with my selection since 10 grams of bud per plant will piss me off more than waiting for a proper grow-- but oh well. What brand coco do you use?
