I've been reading a lot about the Thai trade in the 80's and its got me really keen to sample some to see what the fuss is all about. Can anyone suggest any coffeeshops that sell real-deal Thai weed?

Dutch coffeeshops mite say they have genuine Thai bud, but Id go to thailand.....LOL.

The Thai weed I tried in the Dam was just ordinary brickweed. It looked and smoked like the schwagg that comes across the Mexico/U.S. border - you know,the stuff that's 20 bucks a quarter. Only in the Dam its about 5 euro a gram....Nothing to "fuss about".

In the distant past, there was more on the menus from Jamaica, Thailand, and a Nigerian or some such.... It was sometimes the same weed, lol....

Occasionally, I would find some good Thai, after a few not so good. There may be some in some shop or another. But, look carefully, and smell it, recognize it. Or buy something else...

I have smoked weed in thailand and never found anything comparable in adam.
The thai/jamaican weed they sell there is usually crap.

ive been in amsteradam many times, never seen a thai weed. Most of coffeshops sales same well known strains:

ww,ak47,ssh,amnesia,big bud etc

Was around 1980, a friend informed the boys we'd scored something a little rare. Friday night we get our oldest looking friend to sneak in for beers, we roll down to the railroad tracks to drink and smoke

We all only had 1 cone. I don't remember doing too badly until 30 minutes into our walk we were attacked by dogs, passed out, vomited and then spotlighted by cops.

We all made it home but I never had my 2nd or 3rd cones of that stuff. Pretty sure it was laced with something supernasty, heroin? I dunno.

We all passed out, and a couple of us were hardened smokers.

That shit we called a "Thai stick", and was bound up with string onto a stick.

The good ol days ;p
