haha wonderful... I love how the government says it knows how to save us from its own mess
maybe the answer is not more taxation??? perhaps less government is in order... much less government the gov't don't represent the ppl anymore, they represent themselves and their careers... just like the cops thrive on crime, politicians thrive on chaos, it keeps them powerful to legalize pot is just a phrase, for it already exists and is freely consumed worldwide by those who grow it from the earth... what we are looking for is more labels, more laws, more categories to make us feel secure it is time for a new outlook on the world and its problems, they cannot be legislated away, havent we learned that yet? raze the senate, loot the congress, ransack the courts and riot the prisons, burn the white house and bomb the armies, turn our oppressors weapons against them and we will be free to smoke our ganja and dance naked on the graves of the motherfuckers, free forever from fear of imprisonment and mental slavery

A well thought and presented argument for the decriminalization of marijuana. Thoughtful and provocative. I could argue that the Mexican drug cartels could not sell more potent pot than the dispensaries as she believes, but that point does not merit discussion within the context of her broader point. The history of the criminalization of marijuana should be a topic which is given more discussion than it gets and I applaud her for touching upon it.

Yea the paragraph was about hemp and lets face it hemp need to be "EVERYWHERE", just replacing napkins made from trees at a paper plant with hemp napkins would save so many rivers and forest land from pollution. In all honesty hemp is more important then pot for the future but we can create so many jobs in the long run with both if we have a plan that promotes small business creation and middle class jobs instead of a corporation coming in and lobbying out the little guys until just a few are making all the money off the backs of our hard work.
