Thumbs up Anyone watch UFC 101?

UFC 101 came on last night and I Just had to comment on the Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin fight, DAMN! No one has ever made Griffin look like a total beginner in MMA the way the Spider did last night. It was downright embarassing for Griffin if you didnt see it. It was also Silvas 10th straight win in the UFC.
I guess he wanted to show Roy Jones Jr. who was in attendace that he can showboat and put on a good show while dominating the fight. Anderson Silva is set to fight Roy Jones Jr in a Boxing match after his last 3 remaining fights left on his contract with the UFC.

Great fight!

BJ Penn also defended his belt against florian.

I have been looking for a link to a uploaded vid of the fight but cant find it. I have it on my DVR though. It was a amazing show of how Anderson is truely on a different level than most of the MMA fighters out there.

UFC 101..

What a joke it was...
Silva vs. Griffin was a farce, Griffin got knockedout by a jab.
They didn't show it but it sounded like the best fight of the night was in the crowd..lol
Florian was no match for Penn either but Griffin was supposed to be a tough challenge for Silva and it was like a man slapping around a little boy.
I feel bad for the people that paid $600.00 to have floor seats.

Peace...

People were bitching because Silva didn't finish his last 2 opponents in a spectacular fashion ... Now they see a spectacular KO over a Credible opponent that's 20 pounds Heavier than the man is used to fighting at ... and people are bitching ... so which side of "the publics" Bi Polar issues should Anderson cater to?

Hey it aint Silva's fault that his opponents fall like domino's, He's a stud it was expected that Griffin would give him a good fight but griffin crumbled at the slightest touch,, it was embarassing.

Peace...

A few good fights last night for sure and a bunch more happening tonight.

If you want to get more discussion about this going though you should post in the thread in my signature instead of creating topics like this. Mrs. Babba decided it was the best option to make one big thread about MMA instead of creating lots of small ones like this one and it'll probably get closed soon anyways. There's already been a fair amount of posts in there about 101 so check it out!

Alienate420 is on a distinguished road
More like he had a busted ear drum, dislocated jaw and in his desperation to avoid continued humiliation in front of a national audience decided to take a dive to an unconvincing looking 'knockout blow', perhaps somehow imagining that his pre-existing backwards momentum would help sell the power of the punch. Too many media hyped chumps in that league and this one ran into someone with legitimate world class skills.
