Wine and Weed, who else is a fan?
I had a really nice dinner with my lady last night, and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the combination of wine and good herbs. I feel like they are similar in that they both contain subtle hints of certain flavors and aromas. I am by no means a wine snob, but I certainly enjoy the combination.
Tell me about your favorite wine/weed combination? Opinions? My favorite is Ruffino Chianti Classico, IMO the best moderate priced wine available, and to boot, a good diesel/kush always has complemented it best.

I don't know a damn think about wine either, but I do love it with herb. Wine seems to stimulate conversation better than beer, anyone else notice that? I'm still a beer guy, but I could evolve....

I was also curious as to how many others enjoyed the wine/weed combo.
I rarely drink wine, but I have enjoyed wine and herb together a few times. The last time I had a wine/weed combo was a couple years ago with some wine called Little Penguin (?) from New Zealand and some no name nugs.

a glass of David Morgan and some good herb helped me to quit smoking ciggerette's, i only got addicted to them trying to boost my high but wine does a way better job at that and it dosen't kill you.

Pinot Noir are excellent lighter reds to sip and smoke, they don't overpower the bud. Spanish and Italian reds are also real smooth and fruity IMO. Saint Emillion region from France is phenomenal, and New Zealand wines are also extraodinary., There's a good cheap Pinot Noir from N.Zealand I see alot, Kim Crawford I believe..Anyway, yeah last night I sipped some Juan Gil "Jumilla" variety wine from Spain, very nice dark purple wine, matched very well with the different varieties I was smoking.. |

Any red wine from bordeaux, such as Saint Emilion, Pauillac, Saint julien, Margaux....... or
also sweet white wine like "Sauternes"... are good to drink with a fat joint in my opinion. i live in the production country so prices are not so high, and we often open a good bottle of wine to enjoy the dinner and of course some good joints.

I like Talus Pinot Noir....no offense to Cali, but I've found better, cheaper French imports. With wine, I don't want to smoke my usual couchlock indica....something lighter, maybe some Durgamata.
Cool thread....I love wine, so under drank anymore. Pairing beer with food has gotten so popular that people forget about wine. |
