I bet it smells like bubblegum. It isnt the sour kind however. This pheno is certainly one of my favorites. How many days now in flower? BOG Looking done to me...

Hia Rudders,
ive got 12 Bogbubbles in, just put onto 12/12 to sex em, and suss out m/f, keep 2-3 for mother plants and flower the rest, its my first time with Bogs genetics, and ive only read good things ...i cant wait to taste and smell them flavors what should i be looking for a good mother?? and ive read it in several posts here and on OG the word 'phenome' if i dont ask i wont know... is it for example: as in a Bogbubble showing more signs of a different end of the variety it came from?? Cheers!! THC4SIM.

The smell is like sweet Bubblegum. You know the stuff that comes in small pink blocks. It's called Bublelicious here in Europe.
As for phenos THC4SIM your correct some plants stray towards their parentage in one way or another. BOG will let you know which phenos to look for and which to keep for a mother. This is my first time with this strain so my knowledge is limited. I lunched out this grow and did'nt take any cuttings, regretting it now!! I'll be growing from seed this time again, BOG whats in the pipeline? |

THC4SIM, a good logical question sir. Any seedlings no matter how relatively stable will have variations. Some tend to be fatter leaved and some are just bigger while others have a certain smell or flavor and with some more potent than others too.
When I create a genepool I am not too worried about some variation. In fact I encourage it in some ways to enhance the range of good possibilities. Each plant from seed is similar but different. They may mostly have some of the same traits but even appearance of the buds can vary along with tightness of their nuggies. The truth is that seeds are a vehicle to better things if you are a good grower who can clone. By selecting your favorite mom you will have your girl. You can find your favorite virgin and then show off her charms. This is really the only way to get an isolated phenotype. I just make this possible by providing a buffet of good genetics to choose from. Just choose your flavor and your strength virgin sir but use caution because she may become part of you eventually.
