I wanted to get some insight from your wisdom, and instead of pming you, I thought others might like to read also.

I am about to grow out purple panama and orient express, and want to make some extra beans for myself. I wondered what your opinions are about how the cross might turn out if the father was the panama vs. the father as orient? Which traits might shine through etc?

I grow in a 5 foot cabinet with lots of training and scrog under a 400w hps with fresh cool air pumped in from the outside.

The clean, clear, happy, no anxiety high is top priority! I will also have a dj short blueberry in there if you have any thought on the best cross with that.

Very interesting project! If you let me tell you, with those 3 genetics, I will make this croses.

Purple Panama x O.E, a good Purple Panama female crossed with a bussy indica O.E, will increase yield, vigour and non anxiety effect a priori, because of the indica hint.

Purple Panama x Bluberry, the same Purple Panama female crossed with a nice purple DJ BBerry male, killer cross for sure.

And, Blueberry x O.E, a very berry girl from DJ crossed with a more tall and lanky O.E male, more into the Vietnam Black side to increase organic flavours and more Sativa high.

Thanks for the comments Ras! This is great information for me. Of course alot will depend on what kind of quality males I can get, but I want to have a well thought out plan ahead of time.

Agree on using the OE for the male in the crosses since she is already a hybrid. The purple panama pictures are just amazing - and I can't stop thinking about it! I agree that a panama lady with a very purple male BB might lead to some very beautiful and very interesting pot.

Im glad to hear you are about to start a grow with our genetics. It's always interesting to experiment a bit and try to make your own seed, youll get a better knowledge of the lines you are working with.

Ill have in mind Ras Pablo's recommendation, purple panama female crossed to Orient Express male should produce a happy high yielding sativa dominant hybrid with euphoric social effect.

Purple panama x blueberry should produce a tasty, pleasant and colorful sat/ind hybrid.

Orient Express female (indica or sativa) crossed with blueberry should work fine too: high yielding, short flowering, tasty and potent.

I crossed an ACE NepJam male to my Purple Kush mum and the cross is fantastic. I dont think you can go wrong experimenting with ACE gear.

Is a nice way to see it, be sure most of ACE stuff is not related with most of other things around so am sure can be great for breeding purposes

this is a different hybrid but contains ACE Panaman inside as well and really shows very nice properties .. following the "pelo rosa" (pink hair) traits

I also sprang for the Purple Haze x Panama limited edition, and am designing a special scrog cabinet just for that. Really thinking about 8 125w CFLs placed around the top and sides of a 4ft high cab...anyway, This will get crossed with the purple panama as well.

Anyone else grown out purple panama or create any crosses yet?

I have never had a hobby that provides so much fun and mental stimulation by JUST THINKING ABOUT IT! I design shit, make crosses, "test" them mentally - it is totally awesome, and I owe it to you guys who provide the unique, top of the line, non-Dutchie genetics - and everyone else who provides all the great info I read every day.

I swear i mentally travelled to fields in Panama last night to mentally imagine my babies being grown and born in their natural habitat. It is almost like the plant spirits are speaking to me.

The Purple Panama intrigues me a great deal, but have too much on my plate as it is.
(Big portion of that plate taken up by ACE/CBG gear )
