THE 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR ONE PERSON
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 egg 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) A small splash of vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe) Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). Just got this today...havent tried it as yet...but I will.. Enjoy, Treetops

Hey Gang,
Figured I'd better try this, today was the day...wife "housesittin" for the next 2 weeks..so the kitchen is mine...haahha..Heres my results...I did cut down on the sugar...thought it too much...but as I was mixing I added more..for my taste...Not bad for the first time...With practice this will work out well... Try it... and enjoy with a bowl.... Peace, Treetops ![]() ![]() |

We use straight up Betty Crocker cake mix, put enough mix until the cup is 1/3 full and microwave for 1:15. The leftovers are refrigerated for future cup cake.
It's a great recipe. |
