OK, does anyone else have this problem? I'm always having it. When I hit the back button on my browser to return to user Control Panel, CRASH! Safari quits running! Now I don't lose my dialup connection, and time of day does not factor into it. This is the only site that seems to be doing this. Any body else getting these problems? I'm running Mac 10.4.1 and Safari browser.

I'm running Safari on OS X 10.4.11 with no such trouble. Try creating a new user account and see if the problem occurs there. If it doesn't, the problem is in the settings of your regular account. If it does occur, somethings wrong with your system in general.

Do you have a local Mac buddy with broadband? I'd download and run the latest updates, repair permissions, run Disk Doctor followed by Onyx (freeware download) and see where that gets you.

There ain't nothing but dialup available in the area I live in. It's either get a cell phone and run off that or pay for that stupid Hughes Net bullcrap.

There are lots of places in the US that don't have access to broadband. There is not even a library in the county I live in.

Nothing I can do about it... please don't laugh.

It only happens going back to the User CP? That's weird. No other time?
If that's the case then don't click on the back button for your user cp, just click on user cp. Same amt of work, one click.

The difference is click one button and instantly back to the page you want to be at.

On dialup loading a new page takes about 3-5 minutes.

That is why I asked.
