I have a recipe for scoobie snacks, but i know with cannabutter you are supposed to heat them so taht the THC combines with the fat in the butter. In this recipe you cream the butter sugar and cannabis until its light and fluffy. you cook it at 350* F for 15 minutes. My question is does agitating the cannabis and cream combine them, and is the 15 minutes long enough to activate the THC/ already active from being whipped into cream. . . Thanks

wellll ,,, i hate to say this but there is no cream involved. you are supposed to beat unsalted butter with sugar until its fluffy.. any1 have info on this>?? sorry for confusion . . .

come on!!! we all know scoobie snacks were made with lsd!!!

i think by cream they ment blend. and heating the mixture with the cannabis causes the thc to melt out and combine with the fats in the butter. if that helps any...

it does but im still worried about whether or not thjats enough heat to completely combine the two. Im going to just take the pollem and use that instead of the whole leaf/calyx structure so it should be easier to combine the two, i hope. . . and its just the name of the cookie =)

would you strain out the plant matter if you made it? if not then it dosnt matter anyways, heating it will be enough. if so i think itd be enough but id read read a thread on making cannabutter to help i think.

im nto too sure what im planning with it, i want to strain it sot he texture is good, but then again the pollem itself is fine so i think i would have to strain. im still debating =) thanks for the help alex =)
