What did you think of your CindyHaze?

It's damn hard to find information about this strain. Everyone is always talking about the Panama Red cross.

Did I pick the wrong one? Anyone got a smoke report? I've seen one grow report, anyone else?

I'll be starting some soon and I'd like to know what to expect...

Thanks.

I've looked at that...and that's pretty much all I've found about it. The c99xpr is all over...but hardly anything on the CindyHaze. I was hoping a few others had grown it too...and they could give a quick report. People seem to like it, but they don't say much about it.

Well i can certainly give you an idea of what to expect.
Long flowering sativa dominant plants , the mother haze plant from seeds by tom hill was very vigerous and very sativa dominant, it had a lovely unripe mango smell and delivered a lovely high , though not a huge amount was grown ,, it developed a very good reputation as great herb around the parts it was distributed .
Im sure you know a fair bit of the c99 background, the father plant was resinous and smelt of pineapples .
The progeny were more similar to the mother than father , long flowering as i mentioned and a sativa dominant high , very resinous herb and it was also well received amongst those that sampled it. Outdoor grows of the progeny were excellent .
Im hoping this has swayed you to crack open the pack and get them growing so you can tell us what you think of them ibjamming ..

I will for sure...I have to wait for the heat to subside before I can start my grow. I'll start them in September and let you know what I think...maybe it'll be ready for Christmas.

I was planning on starting them out at 12/12 in a VSCROG with a 400MH in 3 gal pots filled with mushroom compost and/or composted cow manure and 25% perlite/vermiculite. Very little if any A/N Sensi nutes unless they look like they're begging and some molasses at the end.

See...that's the problem...I've only heard from one person who actually smoked it...Dr Bloom. And even he didn't really describe it, he just said he liked it. Everything else is like you said..."it was also well received amongst those that sampled it". I'd like to hear from those people who actually smoked some. Not that it REALLY matters...but it seems like the C99xPR gets all the attention. Sometimes I think I made a mistake picking the CindyHaze and maybe I should have gotten the C99xPR instead...everyone seems to rave about that one...

Man, you havent made a mistake, ive never grown or smoked c99 x haze (i have c99 x panama red) but you cant go wrong with a cross of c99 and haze both amazing strains in their own right, so together it should be one of the ultimate sativas as long as you dont mind the longer flowering time due to the haze influence, from trying wallys stuff i cant imagine him releasing something not worth growing...

Deathtosoapbar is correct there ibjamming, perhaps you will be the one to start the rave about the not so heard about one, i admit im suprised we havent heard much about it either, we grew a bunch of them outdoors in the tropics and they were awesome , so many folks grow indoors perhaps not many that come here have tried them outdoor .

^^^ I wish i could grow it out right now but until i find a new place out far away from people so i can put up a greenhouse, heat, and grow many a great sativa, the reason i think its not heard of is because people say haze and then say no thank you, most people dont appreciate the longer waits

I think thats possible lordbudly ,, i guess its the reason for crossing it with a shorter flowering strain, the haze high is still quite intact, as close as can be .

Wooden Eye is on a distinguished road
Maybe the Panama Red Name Attracts them More then the Haze X but remember the $5 extra may tell something about the refined high. Like everyone else i know about the P.R but just guessing (ATM) about the haze X. Don`t think anyone would be disappointed with any of these great crosses that stand the test of time.
They will all get you High as compared to Stoned like many Indica.
