Just a plug to applaud the efforts that Cali residents go through everyday to try and get our favorite plant legalized for adult use. I had all but given up on this ever happening. It appears the fever has sparked the interest of a Local radio station here in Memphis, Tn. They have been on a tirade about legalization. This is the kinda of outspoken people that this movement needs to reach the backward ass country bumpkin assholes where I live.

Drake and Zeke. I sent them a e-mail this morning applauding them for their willingness to speak out on this issue. If you can stream you should check out their morning show it is great. I'd like to echo appreciation for Cali and others that have followed their example...they are on the frontlines in the effort for legalization...again, my gratitude to those that have help accomplish so much....they're the only hope for those of us who live in backwards, ignorant places...thanks.

Then count in the Nerves of having a Sheriff that SIMULTANEOUSLY accepts bribes from the biggest growers, and thus, LEO's selectively 'process' growers, based on assets that can be seized. Or if they are a Good 'ol Boy, and thus not one to be busted... They are left alone.

Landlords are WAY clued in to what people want to do, when they propose to rent a property.... Getting a place is Super-hard. Ownership is the best way. At these prices, right....

Until it is legalized, the situation remains DICEY at best.

The Scene is one that DOES include a lot of Bad Energy, which many believe is because of the Lure of Profits. But I believe it is simple Teenage thinking on the part of Adults..

In other words, peeps go way too far. And ruin the movement.

^cali is the wild west of growing right now. you have to have recources, and balls just to get started in that market. the feds concentrate a lot of their energy there as well.

A lot depends on which area of Cali you choose. For a while,San Diego was Hell when they shut down all 16 med clubs. Now a couple years later, there are 20 clubs open. I hope SD has finally gotten tired beating their head against the wall. Med MJ is here to stay and legalization is just around the corner. Politicians want the tax money so bad they are willing to ignore the wishes of conservative voters.

I read where LA has really screwed their moratorium on dispensaries. The city council argued on the wording for almost a year and the proponent of a hardship clause won the argument. LA government was flooded with dispensary applications citing the new hardship clause to the moratorium and less than 300 dispensaries ballooned to more than 600. According to the article there is a dispensary for every 6000 LA residents, compared to a disp. for every 35,000 residents in San Francisco.

Each dispensary has to be taken to court prior to being shut down and LA doesn't exactly have the money right now to start court proceedings on potentially hundreds of disps.

Hell, maybe LA can mess this up enough by themselves to speed along legalization.
