Greetings & Love everyone !

This is for people soon visiting the NL, or those living there.

Here's the matter :
I was in Tilburg few weeks ago and stopped by the tourmaline coffeeshop. Reading at the menu I was blasted by the numbr of so-called "Moroccan" hash, mad out of Af/Pak strains, grown in the Rif mountains.

I hadn't put a foot in tht NL since 2004, and at that time, the use of Af/Pak strains in Morocco was still limited and hash made out of those far from being everywhere available. So I was really astonished to see such a proportion of this new material atthe Tourmaline in Tilburg.

I would love to conduct myself a coffeeshop survey around A'dam and the NL, but can't afford at the moment. So I'm requesting here, all those of you who are going to visit coffeeshop to have a close look at the hash menus, get information from sellers so as to know what is the proportion of "Moroccan" hashish made out of Af/Pak strains.

The reason why I request this is that I'm wondering about the healthiness of Moroccan Rif Kif genepool, due to the massive introduction of Af/pak & commercial strains in the area. I personnaly think it is under great threat hence the need of data about coffeeshop menus. That will bring in a few more clues so as to better assess the situation.

If you love moroccan hash, please help !

it's a very interesting idea you got !

I'm going to smoke mostly hash on my trip to holland next week, so i probably can help you a bit.
But i m a young smoker (24), i ve smoked a lot of herbs, good hash can t be found around my place, so i m not able to try to identify hash.

and i m not sure about my definition of morrocon hash, since i think i ve smoked a lot of the afg/paki hash from morroco. But i m pretty sure i ve came along some morrocon too.
very special earthy smell, very hard, usually kinda stoney.. but i don t remember more about it.

If you could do some kind of morrocon hash summary, how it looks, smells, taste, burn, bubble... or if you can give me some link, that would be perfect !

a friend of mine told me that the Kif, which is quite low potency, isn t grow for hash anymore. it was smoked in morroco till the 70's, where hippies and growers from the world came to morroco to start growing higher potency cannabis, mostly from afg/paki... so that would mean real morrocon hash is not to be found anymore. i m pretty sure he s wrong, but he s 40 and have been smoking very high quality hash during the 90s, and had a lot of connections with some hash makers all over the world, including family.

what do you think, would it be possible ?

Recommend you go to the Dam and head up the Dam Straat - find the coffeeshop Extase on the right and check out their Moroccan hash...always get their best, you won't regret it...sit and have an orange juice while you smoke some...then head over to the Rusland, on to the College...and hope it's a sunny day!

I will also be in Adam next week (end) 24 to 27.

Would be nice to meet icmagers and have a good toking session !

I will also almost look for top notch hash as i grow good weed all year long here.

I have a preference for high grade marocaan hash, although i've never taste Nepalese Temple Ball yet.

But i will also buy weed as i don't like to smoke to much tabacco in a day.

Want to try the super Lemon Haze, Bubba Kush, Amnesia Haze and few more ....

if you want good hash do not go to the extase, it is a rip off tourist shop, go to the bluebird, greenplace or any of the dampkring shops. or pm me and i will give you more detailed info.

Hmm I never knew this was such a problem,
why would they be using af/pak plants now,
what are the advantages?

I think I read in "Hashish!" that true moroccan plants were the kif varieties used before the hash boom of the 60's?

got to agree with you there boss,dampkring has a gr8 selection of riffman products.

I've smoked my share of hash in the Netherlands, but when I buy it, it is always from Moroccans.
The city close to where I live has some Moroccan "tea-houses" where most hash comes straight from the Rif.
The quality is much better than what they sell in most coffeeshops around here and sometimes I even doubt some of those hash come from Morocco.
The quality of this hash has always been the same (10+ years) and I am quite sure there is no AF/PaK in there.
I used to like it very much but got a bit tired of it smoking it so much.
I only smoke amnesia haze and ssh for the last two years

I'll try to get some tomorow and post pics in a few days.

Can't really tell you much about moroccan hash in a'dam but i can tell you that the royal jelly from barney's is very good ^^.
