Nutrient Schedule for Autoflowers.
So how do you follow the foxfarm nutrient schedule for autoflowers? The schedule is 12 weeks but autoflowers are 8 weeks, does anybody use foxfarm with their autoflowers?

Good question.. I too wonder.. Also from all I have read, you should use half the recommended amount.. Like if it says 2 tps per gal you should use 1 tsp per gal instead etc???

I've heard of people who wait until approximately week four (whenever they sex) and only use flower nutrients. Also heard of people giving a 1/4-1/8 strength shot of veg nutrients around week two.
I'm trying a few Lowryder #2 and Roadrunner and am probably going to try both ways. |

Because of the short life span and fast growth of autos I started my Russian Rocket Fuel AFs on Fox Farm Grow Big right at three weeks, a matter of days after they sexed - foliar feed first, then 1/2 tsp/gal for first watering, and regular strength 1 tsp/gal for third watering. It not only didn't hurt them, they perked right up and are doing wonderfully. They're plowing along at almost an inch a day now, which is more than I expected.

Good to hear, I've been feeding mine along with the rest of my plants according to the schedule. Next feeding I'll start with the flowering nutrients since they've started to sex/flower.
Thanks for the input guys. -ww |

Once my AFs show their sex which is usually by the end of the third week, I give them a dose of Grow Big and Big Bloom. After that for the next few weeks its Big Bloom and Tiger bloom along with some worm tea and BMO plant tonic.

I use half of the recommended doses. I give them Grow Big just the first time because the plants start to flower after 3 weeks so I switch to the blooming agents. I did this last year with decent results. So far I havent fried my plants which are in their 7th week of growth.
I'm growing Blue Streak, Auto AK X Blueberry & Diesel Ryder. Good luck with your grow. |
