I wondered about this barrier we have in switzerland, speaking 4 different languages, i'd say that it would be best for everyone to keep as a generic language english, and create topics in german, french or italian only when really needed.

If you think you are not good enough to express yourself at your best in english it would be a great idea to write the complete post in your language, then making a short translation in english to make the point clear for eventual ppl who might find hard to understand your own language.

This will not only help other ppl to understand better what you mean, but also is a nice way to improve your english a bit.

Of course, since i'm not the mod of this section, this is only a proposal, but i think that it would be respectful for everyone to comply =]

I agree!!! I've always wanted to join swiss forums to get "local" references, but it's hard trying to read that swiss-german!! Hehe Let's try to keep it in English!

I can read some, but just as it's hard for us to read schwiizerdütsch it's hard for them to read italian or french, and the same thing applies to swiss french, that's the reason for which i made this proposal =P
