ok, ok, no pics yet. Need to get batteries for my camera.
Everyone is doing well - nice and green, no bullshit this time around. I do have one of my ganesh / 8mh crosses that has an extra set of leaves. Not the first set after the cotyledons, but the 2nd set, the 3 blade leaves - it has another set of those the next node up. Haven't seen that before - just a cute little mutation. The ganesh that I had to re-start are all doing good too. They're a little behind, but not too bad. The safaris are showing some variations - looking forward to a little variety this go-round. In three weeks we're going on vacation for a few days. Any recommendations on how to keep these things watered? Normally I wouldn't go anywhere during a grow, but it's a little bit of a "have to" thing. Moving to colorado in the next few months and have to find some living arrangements. I was thinking a 2 liter bottle with one of those water spike things so that it just slowly drains into the soil as the plant uses it up. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks. |

Wow man, she's purty!
Sorry, I'm really really bad about keeping this thing up with updates and what not. No ferts and everything is looking fantastic. Only a little bleaching on one of the plants so I lifted the light up a couple inches. They're getting good sized. Thinking that one of the safaris might be showing me his sack. :( We'll see what happens. The ones that were started late are starting to take off, little by little. Getting an auto waterer I'm thinking, either that or risk building myself a drip system on a hose timer. See how it goes. I'll try and get in there with the camera later tonight and show ya'll how they're doing. Again, sorry, I suck, I'm mean, I'm a real dick. But I LOVE POT MAN!!! So that makes it all ok. |

Here we go!!!
Suspected male - safari mix Suspected female - safari mix Another suspected female - safari mix She's really got some beautiful fan leaves Suspected male - safari mix Two suspected males - 8MHxGanesh Ganesh - Little early to tell - these take a little longer to show sex. It's pot buddy just loves big mama though. 8mhxGanesh - not quite there yet either. Another week or so... 8mhxGanesh - Look at the fan leaves on this one. Little odd shaped. This is the one that had two sets of 3 blade leaves. Looking female. Little bit of light bleaching on the one leaf I think. Took the lights up a hair. 8mhxGanesh - Neither showing sex yet 8mhxGanesh - Looking like a girl! Got some nice side branching going on. One day when I've got a lot more space to work with I'll really look forward to seeing what she could do with a couple months of veg 8mhxGanesh - Looking like a male on the right, lefty there is still a bit too young to say much. And back there are all my little fruity ganesh plants. They'll be a couple weeks behind the rest of them but it will give me plenty of time to trim everything up! Hoping for a decent crop - moving after this harvest and I need some meds to take along. Another shot of the ganesh No ferts - may not have too. This soil's been used a couple times now and it seems to be feeding them just fine. Using my muni. tap water without any problems this time around. Watch those 8 miles - they don't like the extra food! Learned my lesson last time around. he he he... Going to give the suspected boys a couple days to prove themselves. Then I'm going Jack the Ripper on their asses. Thanks all - thought it was high time I get my ass in here with some pics before ya'll started slinging tomatoes and horse shit. |

And a few more boys came out tonight. 6 females so far - another 12 yet to show me their junk.
Bought a drip irrigation setup today for while we're on vacation. Hopefully by then I'll have a better idea on some of these. Most will probably be starting to show sex while we're away next week. EEK!! See what happens... I'll get some pics of that build posted up. Pretty simple setup - about $70 worth of shit. Timed water spigot was the most at around $40. I'm using it's 15 min every other day setting and running 2 pots on each 1gph drip emitter - each pot will get 1/2 quart of water every other day, just about right for what they've been drinking. Later... Later all. |

Oh yeah, and these seem to be doing really well even with a consistent 86 degrees with lights on, 75-77 when it's off. Humidity is hovering in the mid 50's too.

And one more tonight.... Getting thin in there... Pulled a big male - the one who's leaves I was oogling over. Not the typical pattern that I'm used to seeing - kinda sad to see it go. I'll have to press one of the leaves.
