Holy freakin ish! I was checking the mail today and to my surprise.

I was kinda shocked bcuz I had not heard anything from OP regarding the PM I sent in. Anyway, I am stoked.

There was 10 seeds in the pack but 1 was crushed. I guess during transit.

Strain info I gathered from BR's threads. (TY!)

Zombie Virus = BoBo (Bog medley x Rainbow 4) x Pollen Chuck
Indica Dom. 8-10 weeks.

I take it that the Pollen Chuck was from CORE seeds?

Germ rates in. Only about 60-72 hours. So far 8/9. Decent.

Out of the 8 popped. Only 5 of them were ready to go into soil. The other 4 seemed to be a somewhat slower.

These 4 will remain in the towel. Considering the temps being very ambient. 70-75 degrees. I will place these over some heat. Might help things along.

Keeping in mind that the other 5 didnt need any temp adjustments.

Anyway. So far 8/9 germed. 1 seed being crushed upon arrival. Out of those 8 popped. 5 were ready to go in about 48 hours with the remaining 4 still in the towel at 72 hours.

Here is some F.Y.I. You know the boring but very important shit?

Bare with me.

My soil mix:

40% Soil
25% Coco
20% Peat
15% Perlite

Not too sure on percentages, but its close.

I use very little Fox Farm GB during veg. Maybe a little Calmag+ or Karma (just depends). Not too crazy with the nutes. I like to keep things simple.

Very simple.

They will go under 4-T5 HO with 2 6500k bulbs & 2 4200k Bulbs. 96 watts of T5's for about 2-3 weeks. Then under metal halide until flowered.

See.

That wasnt so bad.

Okay. I'm back.

I only ended up with 6/9 germed. Considering the fact that 1 of the seeds arrived crushed. Which would have been a possible 7/10. I'd say thats not too bad. I've have purchased worse, a lot worse.

Moving on.

All 6 have broke the surface and week 1 of veg has begun.
