I know there are a lot of factors that determine this but from your experience what is the avg time... I am talking Germination from Soil..

Usually about 3-5 days for me. Are you precracking the seeds?

I have not startrd yet.. Is precracking recommended???

Is that where you soak the seeds in water for 24 hrs first?

No! Put them in a damp paper cloth. They will sprout. Don't over think the process. It takes about 2 to5 days to sprout.

can someone explain pre-cracking? ive had troubles with auto seeds outer shell not breaking open like it should

what i do when i pre crack is i get the seeds wet first for a few hours to a day and you just squeeze the seed till u hear/feel a crack thats all it takes. you can also scuff the seeds with a vary fine grade sand paper that seems to help if u dont want to pre crack the seeds.
