Lowryder or ...?
Hello all!
![]() I grow outdoor in Finland. I bought---> Thyphoon, Royal Dane, "?lowryder?". for this summer. Lowryder I bought from HIGH SUPPLIES and first I had them about 30 days under 400w HPS 20/4. Then I moved them outdoor. Now they've been like 35 days outdoor on a sunny spot about 7 hours direct sunlight It supposed to be autoflower, but there is no flowering at all in those plants. They are over 100cm long, fat as my thum, getting bigger and bigger but does not flower. My thyphoon and royal dane started flowering after 25 days under 400w HPS 20/4 and are flowering really nicely at the moment outdoors. here I have few photos of my so called "lowryders". I need your opinion about is it really lowryder or have HIGH SUPPLIES sold to me bullshit. What do U think? Lowryder or bullshit...

I have not mixed up the seeds. I know that HIGH SUPPLIES have done the mistake. I had 20 lowryders in one water glass, 12 thyphoons in other, 11 royal danes in third. Peace

I'm not sure how lowrider was bred but i'm pretty sure that since its not 100% rudelis cannabis(can't spell) it wont auto flower 100% of the time
It depends on how dominate the autoflower gene is in all the seeds a friend of mine jus bought sum lowriders i was talkin to him about the auto flower trait bcus he wants to breed the lowriders wit a sativa i told him hes goin to get a vary of dif. plants some autoflower some not Mayb ur plants jus one of the few % of ther seeds that aren't autoflowering plants |

But lowryder is lowryder cuz of the size of the plant. this is way too big to be lowryder. And High Supplies sells that product with the mention of autoflowering after 45 days. I was with contact to the support of high supplies and they told me that it will automatic start to flower after 45 days max. as u can see from the pic it does not even look like lowryder at all.

![]() since i bumped in this thread too might as well post a pic what lowryders "should" look like. allthough these are about tenth generation seed lowryder2's these three look a lot like the original. ..no where near meter high, not even 20cm and still flowering vigorously.. |

hate to be a nitpicker but isnt it ruderalis instead of rudelaris?.. see more ppl mispelling it than nailing it right. still, you gotta love autoflowering when the sun dont set at all.
![]() someone could give me a short lecture about the ruderalis genetics, i hear people referring it to be nothing more but fibre hemp thus having very low potency. are all ruderalis-plants autoflowering? and the other way, are all the AF-plants ruderalis? heres a little macroshot of that "bigger" lowryder#2 plant @ 9weeks.

Pure ruderalis are indeed very-low potency and mostly fiber, yes. All ruderalis autoflower naturally, as far as I know. However, I would not necessarily say that all autoflowers are ruderalis. All AF's however DO carry the AF gene which was passed on from rudy's, but that was a result selective breeding/backcrossing/etc and about the only ruderalis trait inherent in an autoflower hybrid. Most AF's now are high-potency quite unlike a pure rudy. Make sense? |
