A seed
This is my ghetto shot through a hand held lens
It catches a very young seedling. Last edited by JackTheGrower; 07-16-2009 at 11:55 AM.. Reason: spelling |

well it sure could have been clearer with a camera with the right kind of lens.. A Macro lens right? do I have the right term?
But I can make out the "sack" the cotyledons are in even tho it's a bit blurry. You guys have me wanting a camera i can put lenses on.. Jack |

Thank you!
It was taken with a Sony Cyber-shot 5mp using a credit card size hand held print magnifier w/LED. I liked that. I used this magnifier for the Shot of "The Doctor" as well.. The round edge blur effect is nice and nicer as time goes by. When one's heart is in writing-posting for a web site sometimes they do well. Ernst |

Jack very nice considering the lens that you are using. Many of the best images are captured using un-conventional methods like yours. I consider myself lucky to get a good image no matter what I use to photograph it, and I use everything in the book trying. DD

^^ I'm with doobie on that one. Every picture I ever take is shitty because of my camera, lol, it couldn't possibly have anything to do with the guy operating it!!!
Nice pics though man. I have a lens like that so I'll be trying that sometime this afternoon.
