GT55-- that is a very good question GT. One must remember that Warlock is very stable and is very consistent. I have grown out Warlock seeds and all the plants looked like identical clones-- Truly amazing & creative breeding went into creating the Warlock strain.

With that said, you most likely see the same phenos in your grow, but you may see some slight variation between plants. And the biggest differences you will see is between growers who are doing different types of grows, for example, indoor vs outdoor.

Hope this helps.

in a pack they'l all be pritty much the same. with basicaly all the same phenos. squat sweet chuncky compact nugs node-ing at really short intevals all the way up the branches, soaring sat high followed by a clear yet stoney and trippy high, a really unique plant for what just looks like a short indica. gerrit is a quality breeder and his strains, like mosca says are really homogenous.

warlock has changed a bit over the years batch to batch though. some lots were more of a woody taste, and some batches more of the candy side. a must for any grower.

Hi GT55,
I'm growing 2 almost similar indica phenos, very squatty with hard rock buds which during almost all flowering smells fruity mostly like peach and/or apricot..... at the end comes a skunky something....and curing shows more changing which I'm not able to define yet.... I'm goonna have a taste of it soon

if u like to have a look

there are some phenotypic variations to be found. Mostly I would say that you need to have a discerning pallate to identify the differences in aromas, and its hard to describe in words, complex aromas. In terms of aromas the variations are mainly between sandalwood - fruity. the fruity aromas in the fem version were different between plants some with more citrus, some with other fruit aromas. And then there are the deep skunky basenotes.

In terms of growth structure, you can find indica - sativa dominance varioations. There are prominent indica phenos which can be a bit shorter and fatter, and the taller more slender sativa phenos. The indica phenos will tend to be more apically dominant, where as the sativas are a bit more branchy from what i observed.

Warlock is awesome!

Yes, I agree with most comments made as to my experiences with one of my Holy Grail plants-- WARLOCK!

Gerrit chose the short bushy pheno with many colas as his preferred pheno. Although I have seen pictures of some taller plants. Erza, your experiences are different than mine since you have grown her outdoors. I have strictly grown her indoors and I have not personally grown out a "taller" WL pheno. Warlock has always been consistent for me with producing a shorter, swat, bushy plant. This make a lot of sense as to why Gerrit prefers this prototypical expression-- less vertical space/waste. Why grow out a taller plant that yields the same as a shorter bushier plant?

Some growers that have grown Warlock outdoors in Northern Cali have had HUGE bushes that looked to be 10 feet tall! Just massive plants. But even these had the trademark "bush" type plant with many, many colas. Sure is fun to see people grow plants like Warlock out and see what their experiences are and compare them to ours.

We must remember that Warlock came from an Afghan & Skunk background. And Gerrit perfected her to no end. I have some beautiful pictures of most beautiful Warlock I have grown. I look some pics up on my computer and will post some picture soon. She is like most Warlock gals-- Magnificent!

mosca, yea i agree they are bushy, branchy plants. I meant that some a a bit more on the sativa, or indica side, but the differences were not huge between plants. Out of 9 fems outdoors, 1 plant was an indica phenotype which was distinctly shorter and more single cola dominant with thicker buds, 1 plant was a taller more lanky sativa type, the rest were somewhere inbetween. The keeper was this indica pheno which was very compact and productive, with all the resin quality there. We didnt take cuts at the time and i was gona reveg her after harvest, but i left it too long and she passed away. I must do another run...

I need to get some more seeds soon. When I grew out the Magus Warlock last year, the plants were amazing, but I had them too crowded. Amazing phenos, very much in the sour diesel family and it matures quickly and grows short. I grew the feminized beans and I will definitely get them again soon. One of my favorite strains for sure, and it was easy to grow. Not much variation between phenos of the feminized seeds, they all grew like fat little indicas.
