^ i hear 1/8 tsp per gallon per week
that bag from KIS would make hundreds and hundreds of gallons and would last years in an indoor garden |

Hey thanks Habeeb!
Uhm, 1 liter of Diamond Nectar is 23 Euros where I live. Ok it's Fulvic (and reading GH US site, I'm not even certain of that), I know, but... Am I just getting a little bit ripped off? ![]() Sorry, I was forgetting that GH is PREMIUM REFINED minerals, not the powder I may be getting here, isn't it? From GH Europe website: "Diamond Nectar is an exclusive Fulvic Acid extract from a combination of unique Leonardite sources providing the highest availability and diversity of these bio-active plant compounds. Millions of years ago prehistoric plants and animals were consumed in the ecological cycle of life. Buried thousands of feet deep and converted to carbon, some of these deposits produced “Diamond”. Others were pushed to the surface during the ice ages and became what is known as “Leonardite”. Beneath some ancient lands in New Mexico, an extraordinary Leonardite deposit was formed. It contains the riches of natural organic matter composted for millennia and freely available to growing plants. This deposit is carefully mined and natural compounds called “Humates” are extracted. Soluble Humates (the humic and fulvic acids family) contain a myriad of natural plant growth promoting compounds plus nutrient enhancing ingredients." I guess we are comparing apples to oranges, GH is just an order of magnitude above... ![]() I don't know, I am really getting astonished... I knew AN ripped off people, still their 50+ products (which I haven't bought) have thought me there is more to plants than NPK and Lucas formula... now I get even GH is ripping off people. If only people knew and had the right websites and formulas, they could spend one fifth if not less to feed their plants... and have them more pest-resistant and healthier... I see the light now but I know the road is still long to get to the perfect formula. What two weeks ago seemed a must have product is just another snake oil for the price I've paid it (one example: 300ml of Growth Technologies Nitrozyme for 15 Euros, good but really overpriced product, fact is it was the only option locally available to get auxins and giberellins). Being in the US would help a lot though, your internet and organics distribution development is light years ahead of many places in Europe. I wonder whether there is an unexploited market which could be created here in Europe, delivering better value to customers but still making a nice profit, without the rip-off situation in which we are now. By the way, going back to the subject, what do you think about fulvic? Is it practically already included in the humic bag or should I source that as well? What about silica? I'm considering going with AN Barricade as it is already concentrated enough meaning it will last me for ages for some 25 euros. Does any of you use Silica and how you get it? Maybe just normal sand could do?

humic and fulvic are two different things
I use https://www.ec-securehost.com/FaustBi...for_Crops.html for fulvic, not sure if it makes a difference as Im a noob but I use it as a foliar once a week silica, I use rare earth, but I know its just a pyrophillite clay ( not sure which one but it has a pinkish tint to it ), but it works for me, and I dont mind spending the money till I find something that is just as good for less... rice hulls are said to have alot of silica. yes Im sure sand works, but how fast it would work I would say no one knows for sure |

Yes, that's a bit the problem. For Silica in Europe we don't have rare earth, there is mineral magic, 1kg is 13,5 Euros, Rare Earth in a 1kg format would be equivalent to around 10 $ so here again Europe is getting fucked...
I've bought it, but I don't like it as it basically says you can use it the way you want it... come on, can't you just tell me a specific recipe, so I don't waste all that pricey sand? That's why I'll go for Barricade or Protekt or something liquid... the sticker tells you exactly what to do, you do it, you are happy, the plants are happy ![]() I will check your link for fulvic, hope I can get something similar locally or get nice prices on international shipping... the life of a European grower is just so difficult it's not even funny!

Never used Maxicrop but I have used a homemade liquid seaweed from a local organic farmshop which was geat also. I think they're all pretty similar but people will be brand loyal so its ultimatly up to yourself to choose. I'll be buying the local stuff next time. Good Luck. Bardo

The humic acid is 1/8th of tsp per gallon. It goes even further.... Both are best applied in small doses at higher frequency, like every other watering at half to a quarter the above rates depending on soil and nutrient needs. |

Hey I like this companies liquid kelp. Ive been using it for years. It's great in compost tea, used as a foliar, soil drench etc.
https://pnworganics.com/ They also have a good fish hydrolysate also great for compost tea etc. One thing that is cool is they use west coast bull kelp so the product is more local for people on the west coast. |
