I have a few questions regarding pure landrace sativas that take 14 weeks or less to fully flower.
1) whats the tastiest you've ever tried ? 2) in your opinion, whats the most motivating ? 3) what are some of the most potent of the 14> week landrace sats ? Thank You |

High NoddaPuppet,
I think it's not easy to answer but let me try (always under 14 week flowering range, only pure landraces): 1) whats the tastiest you've ever tried ? Wild nepalese 2) in your opinion, whats the most motivating ? Angolese, zamal and nepalese 3) what are some of the most potent of the 14> week landrace sats ? Malawi, without any doubt then angolese and zamal.

Thanx for the info dubi ! On the motivating question where you answered with Nepalese, did you mean the same wild nep or do you mean the highland nepalese ? I take it ya'lls Malawi Gold will still be released later this year ? Also, i read a post of yours from back in 2006 where you said ACE would be releasing Angolese & Zamal in the future, any release dates for these 2 ? Thanks |

Malawi will be released this year, Feminized malawi will be available around August, Malawi standard hopefully will be ready for Christmas time. We are not going to sell any pure angolese or angolese hybrid, it's a promise we did to mano negra and Rainha. We are working on a few zamal crosses like zamal x meao thai, if we are sucessful and Gerrit aprove it, a few zamal genetics will be distributed. Thanks for asking. dubi - ACE Seeds - |

Nodda: Good questions, it seems you're looking for similar things in strains as I am!
Dubi: I've been so caught up in many of the "designer" strains that I have overlooked ACE seeds as a seedbank, and it seems to be my loss. Your philosophy regarding the contamination of landrace strains, and the loss of genetic diversity really parallels my own thoughts on the matter. Two questions: What strain(s) would you recommend to somebody who hasn't grown out your genetics before? That Nepalese Kathmandu sounds like it would be a good addition to my meditation practice, is it, or something like it, available? Nodda: Sorry for the minor hijacking

I'd highly recommend you Panama, Orient Express, Nepalese Jam, Tikal, Congo, Bangi Haze for a first time ace grow, in no particular order, each strain has its own personality, aroma, growing behaviour, effect etc ... Sadly, last pure Nepalese Kathmandu seeds didnt germinate. I've been working on a Nepalese Kathamndu x Kali mist inbred line past years trying to fix my favourite nepalese traits (incensey strawberry aroma- spiritual expansive effect) in a more vigorous and powerful sativa hybrid. Meditation is a real interesting and deep topic, is meditation a practice, a system, a method? or is a direct (non symbolic non rational non based on memory) connection with existance? |

We are planning a CBG's jamaican 85 reproduction for the outdoor season. Hopefully seeds will be ready for late autumn. Nepalese kathmandu and Indian Malana can not be reproduced, there are no pure seeds to keep working with them. Mexico Michoacan verde limon has been distributed privatly for the past 2 years, please send us an email if you are interested, i think there are very few packs left. Congolese hybrids have been developed with selected congolese mothers, pure congoleses and many other pure african sativas have a very low pure male ratio, that is why it's not so easy to produce a new good pure generation. About the commented hybrids, we have created similar crosses like: Zamal x Malawi Nepalese Highland x Oldtimer's Haze Oldtimer's Haze x Nepal Mist (Nepalese kathmandu x Kali mist) Pure Bangi x Oldtimer's Haze ..... It's a hard and long task to correctly test all the hybrids we have produced lately, some are already tested others not yet, the best ones will be distributed in future catalogues. Thanks for your interest. |

Dubi: Thank you for the recommendations, I think I'm going to pick up some Nepalese Jam to get started, and I'll make sure to document it in the ACE forums.
I try not to think about meditation in concrete terms, I practice to separate my mind and body in order to join them; to separate my self from the world in order to lose my self. Sometimes, the right strain is a tool toward these things, it shows me paths I can't see when I'm consciously trying to find them. I'm looking forward to sampling the offerings you have.

Remember Nepal Katmandu were some of tiniest seeds ever seen. Dubi let me check stocks here... guess still have some lots left from last reproduction?
Mexican Verde Limon is not available and still pending of a next run but not hands and time for it for me. Hope few lots left there Dubi, I shared most There plenty of Nepal Highland/OT Haze. Ill think about Jamaican 85 Dubi, makes not sense sometimes and as said in another thread. Perhaps Ill upload them to the Boo Best |
