well it is "one line" if the line has been stabilized to an extent, as much as possible. THEN you have inbreeding of the line...perhaps 20 or more years inbreeding in haze case, you are going to get some pretty similar breeds, ie. the "new" hybrid haze, not 4 that equal 1.

I know people like that classic church shit, and thats pretty pronounced and stable in such lines as mango hz.

if you read the above quote from SAMS ill post again

I have not worked Original Haze as much as tried to save it, I collected as much seed as I could in the early 70's grew them and did free pollinations and did minimal selection to ensure I saved as many genes as I could. That was in the 70's & 80's now I have clones for the last 20 years. My O Haze is not done being worked on that is why I tell people to use it as breeding materials.

no one has worked the haze line 20yrs it might be 41 yrs old ,but sams stopped working her around 84 .supposedly she was pure punto rojo until 80-81 soo 3 yrs work wit those mexi ,s.indian, thai crosses obviously bred toward the sweet thai side which sams has said was his perference , than tomhill aquired his stock via posi in 93 94 if i recall.and THO is wat you might consider stablized to an extent a great representation of thai leaning haze ,wit not much variation in the line .

now grow out a pack of TFD ohaze SEEDSMAN ohaze you will see much more variation .even when ohaze was one line/strain the punto rojo, their was still the FOUR VARIETIES reported by happhi

as for church/frankincense i believe the trait comes from the haze A male soo mh contains som haze A and is a good strain too isolate the trait but MH is also known to be sweet and fruity ,as are many of todays haze hybrids including many mns hybrids. the neville haze IMO is the best line to find this trait .

although the lineage of haze in silver haze is unknown as is the first cross nlXhaze,it seems obvious the first haze releases such as nl5haze containing the haze A are the pure haze nothin sweet about it strains many of us miss and highly desire .the hazeA male is dead and the SH and NL5haze are no longer produced .

maybe when Sams decides to start releasing strains neville will also come back on the scene LOL
