Knife Throwing
Any other knife throwers out there?
I just took it up as a way to pass the time, plus since my gun ownership is in limbo,I figured it might be a way for self/home defense. I bought a "how to" DVD on line and 5 knives. Its a great and cheap way to pass the time.,and I'm sure its good exercise too. |

Hey stc9357,good to meet another thrower.
I just started 2 months ago,i ordered "Throwdinis" DVD,and 5 Cold Steele pro balance knives.I took the handles off of them and put duct tape on instead. The synthetic handles were getting busted up. I also got an old Olson oK thrower I bought as a teenager. Also got 2 odd throwers I bought off of EBay. I love it. As a friend said"its like plating "macho darts" |

I'm learning the balance and such of my new Ka-bar knife. I'm beginning to practice throwing it - believe it or not the standard issue combat knife can be thrown well - it has great balance. I'd love to get hold of a set of proper throwing knives - need a dartboard too. Good to know a few other people here are interested in it.
Peace, ~Skylined

I reccomend the Gil Hibben pro thrower series. They have always been my favorite and I havn't broken one yet. You guys ever try a throwing ax?
