How can i set up a... uh, constant harvest?

I dont know what its called. but i want to set up autoflowers to harvest like, 1 every three weeks, or so. (something like that) Its part of the reason i chose autoflowers, but i'm not sure how i would do such a thing with my DWC..... I mean, i guess i can plan to have seedlings started a few days be4 my first hvst's flush..... I'm worried about overnuting!

Sorry if it made no sense i borrowed and cleaned my friends perkulator.... nothin like hits from a freshly cleaned bong

plant like 1 every 3 weeks dude.... ?

DWC is single pots, right ? So you can just add another when you want.....

If you have some master res DWC system, all connected via tubes, you will have trouble doing this, Coco in handwatered individual pots would work well, hope that helps...

I was thinking of a dual flowering room.

Like 2 flowering rooms side by side, with a light mover that switches between each room and light seals behind it every time it moves.

one pretty nice veg room (400w mh) with a 1000w on a light mover switching between rooms every 12 hrs.

I dont trust mechanical things though. And running a bulb 24hrs can be dangerous.

Mabey just alternating between cycles in 2 flowering rooms to keep electricity spike down. Once one room is at 20-35 days flowering start the next room.

Should keep ya busy.

no need for 2 rooms when growing autos. just a little more space in the main room (if the actual lacks space to add some more plants). first batch day 1 - second batch starting a month later, so every month (+/- some days though) shall be a decent harvest possible.
create feminized seeds, so no space would be wasted for possible males.
for a constant harvest just multiply the amount of batches the way you need. (batch could be just 1 plant a week or so. however)

I'm not into hydro so I can't tell something special to that. but should be possible, anyhow.

CheifnBud2, they are autos, it's not a light issue. He will have problems putting the young'uns in the same nute bath as the older ones (If he uses a master reservoir with circulation between the pots, which is the preferred DWC technique for centralized aeration, AFAIK, but I haven't grown DWC).

I would just build-up a stash so that you can define "continuous" as having plants growing all the time, but with harvests every 8-ish weeks. Once you have your stash as a buffer it won't matter if you have to wait a bit and you can avoid lots of extra work

Why waste your time growing autoflowers on a massive scale?

Yeah, if I needed continuous output I would have mothers and I'd be running clones, exclusively. But, if you have a heavy habit, and certain grow area restrictions, the autos can make sense. Keeping mothers really adds another dimension to your gardening.

I may just have a 6 plant setup, and run low nutes..... People run lowryders at 50 % nute and much lower all the time so i dont think they are too sensitive...... And when the younger 3 are rootbound i will cut it down to 10-20% Should work like clockwork.
