just tried uploading one again months later, still says none allowed yet everyone who had them still rocks em. Is this gonna get sorted out or is there a no more .gif policy????? im trying to use my original avie

If you don't have one, you can't have one. Maybe they will set it up to let you have an animated avatar if you donate.

what about all the non subscribers with animated avatars still? i mean that in the most chill way too, text can be deceiving

Those that were posted before the last big upgrade were grandfathered in. Several were removed because we had problems with them. That is why we're not allowing anymore because people were abusing the privilege by posting up extremely annoying animated gifs. We hope that supporters will be more circumspect in what they post up.
