Okay on to the details.
First thing I had to give up 4 beans to a good friend of mine. Two from the BK x DC & C99 x DC. Moving on. I started these on Apr. 22. Here are the germ rates. BK x DC = 2/3 Probably would have been 3 of 3 had it not been for the deformed seed C99 x DC = 4/4 Lapis Mt. = 4/4 Oh & I dont want to hear any sack about the size of my tap roots. Please newbs don't make yourself look ridiculous like members Wev & Woodeneye.

After germination, I put them in a "used" soil mix with fresh coco. Used soil was not wise on my behalf, but they are very strong and forgave me.
Here are some week 2-3 shots. Initially these plants started under 125w of CFLs and were switch to a 400mh days after the following pics. I use FF GB here and there if they need it for veg nutes. Lapis Mt Indica: *Notice the yellowing from the bottom up. Its the used soil mix.* C99 x DC in the back (Minus one I forgot to take out of the tent) Bubba x DC in the front Like I said these plants are very forgiving in terms of nutes. Which is a plus because I am a regular dude. Not a professional grower. I make mistakes. Which in my opinion, is really testing a breeders' gear. Kudos!

Shortly after the last pics, I put these under a 400mh. I also began the training.
Here are some week 4-5 shots. Notice the growth after only a little over 2 weeks under the metal halide. They all semmed to have over come the whole "used" soil deal. Lapis Mt Indica: As I have found in the past pretty much "ALL" indica doms should be trained early. Dont not waist time to start manipulating the growth patten and branching. You will be rewarded in the long run. Another thing I have noticed is that these stay relatively small. Oh well extended vegging is no problem in my g-room. C99 x DC: There is some yellowing from bottom up. Probably should repot soon. BK x DC: These 2 seemed to be very happy. Nice growth. Responding to my traing techniques very well.

Whats going down everybody? Im back with another update.
First off, I went a head and put the Bubba x DC and (2) C99 x DC into flower 6/8. So I will start with those. Just a quick note. The Deep Chunk males are really showing up in these crosses. Some pics of Bubba x DC Week 1 Flower: Sorry about the pic quality Close ups: I am just playing around with some LST. Trying to manipulate them as much as I can. Got to get as many cuts as possible. Just in case.

C99 x Deep Chunk Update:
As stated in my previos post I decided to flower 2/4 of the C99 x Deep Chunks I have. I put them in 2 Gal Poly grow bags with a mix of OF/Coco/Perlie. They were started on June 8th. Now it has been about 9-10 days since I took the pics and they have sexed. I have 1 confirmed male & 1 confirmed female. I am about to release the ties on the female and take some cuts. The male I might just take a cut and do something with it later on. Who knows???? I will have more pics soon..... Group Pic: *NOTE* Disregard the Hash B on the bag. Been reusing the same bags for years* Close Ups

Lapis Mt Indica Update:
Continuing along with the Lapis Mt Indica. These are in week 6-7 of veg. They have spent the past several weeks back under CLFs. They are doing just fine. I have notice a pretty strong stench from several of these in my group of 4. Pretty interesting to see how they turn out. Anyway I cant decide if I am going to flip the switch on the 1st of July or put em under a Metal Halide and continue vegging. Once again, who knows???? Group Pic **Noticing a little nute burn on 1. Other than that. All is well.** Close ups 2/4: **Note** LST is really bringing out the branch of these Indicas, Nice!!!!** Close ups 4/4: **Probably repot and veg these 2 longer for sure** Stay tuned.....
