Peak 19 0% Germ rate

I ordered a pack of these seeds from the Boutique. I tried germing 6 out of 10 and 0 germed. Had high hopes for these beans as well . Perhaps there is a method I can try to germ the rest of the seeds? I had the previous 6 seeds germing for about 3 weeks. They were all rotted.

I noticed one other person had this issue with Peak 19 seeds. Perhaps they were old Stock?

Sounds just like it. Give up on that peak 19 already.

Thanks for the replies! It is a bummer to hear that you think the seeds are no good as well, Wev.

Hope I have better luck next time. Anyone else out there with my problem? Is this a fairly Isolated incident?

Peace!

You said you were germin them for 3 weeks? That might be your problem.. Shouldnt take more then 2-3 days.

Your correct. If you do a little research, you will find that some seeds take a little longer. 1 -3 day is the norm for the taproot to appear , and these are the only seeds that WOULD NOT germ in that time frame. I had 5 packs of seeds to start with, and these are the only genetics that had an issue.

peace!

Its seems the in-demand items sell out so fast you know they are fresh.

I think I remember Sagarmatha acknowledging a problem with Peak 19 and telling people to write them. I don't know if that offer is still in effect. I have a pack and haven't tried germing 'em but I haven't written the Sag crew yet either. I'll be interested in seeing how it all turns out

If that is so, I will indeed contact Sagarmatha about my problem. Perhaps they can offer a solution. Thanks for the tip.

1.How were you trying to germinate them? Soaking, papertowel, direct sew, ect?
2.How many other times have you germed seeds, besides this time?
3.What type of water/soil were being used?

I have a pack that I'm holding onto for when i have sufficient room, and I'm not liking what I'm hearing.
