Skinny grapes on my grapefruit - Female Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Can any1 suggest a reason for why grapefruit buds might not fill out much?

My Grapefruit was given 18hrs light a day for 1 week after germination and 12hrs light a day for 10 weeks? Room temps - 25c and humidity 30-40%.
Tank emptied and re-filled every week in flower stage.
Feed - Ionic.

The quality was the dogs danglies

, there was a lot of it but not BIG buds.

I think you didn't veg long enough. Try giving them 18 hours of light for about 4 weeks and then switch to 12 hrs. I think they will fatten up and you will be happy.

once i grew a sk1 x Afgan Dream from seed under 12/12 the entire Grow in vertical cage. 1 solid cola 63g dried.

At the time i only had approx 4 feet height to grow so thats why i only gave them 1 weeks veg...given any longer i was told they'd be thru the roof and up into the sky.
Now i have double that height allowance so will do what u advise and give them longer.....63g cola - thats massive man - mine was a meer 14g!?!

thanks it shocked the hell out of me to, It was the best plant it the cage at the time. It came about as an accident that turned into a grand experiment. Go figure.

I ordered some grapefruit seeds from seedbay and in the breeders description it says you can go 12-12 one week after germination and it also said yeild: maximum, now my height is limited so I really wont do more than 2 weeks of veg if that's case (going through the roof) but couldn't you employ LST or a ScRoG? to maintain height as I do want enough bud to see me through 'till next sativa harvest, If you had more plants per space yeild would be greater as it says these are for SOG?
