hiya mike and all ICMAGers

as i have already grown that sadhu 1 year ago and i cant seem to get any cuttings, i now select my own mother.

in the last sadhu grow, i had 10 seeds - 3 females - i know the rate is low, but the temperatures in the cellar were very low (about 15°) so i guess that was the point, as i had 20 other seeds from other companys and they had the same female rate. so now my mother closet is in my room, the temperature is perfect, so there should be more females this time.

The last time i got 2 phenos,1 indica/sativa mixed pheno with about 65-70days of flower and 1 very indica dominent, fast growing, big yielding, and great tasting pheno, which needed about 55-60 days. that is what i am looking for. i hope i´ll get it, but you never know

thats exactlly what i wanna select

so i purchased 10 seeds on saturday and put them into a glass of water to germ. today evening they will be placed into jiffys.

so this is my first own mother selection, you got any tips and tricks?

pictures will be postet when there is anything to see, i guess at the end of the week

k now i start

the seeds are now i think 8 days old. roots are here. so i will put them soon into a bigger teku.

there is also a sage seeding next to the sadhus

update

dunno the day, but speed isnt important in that selection.
the are 9 sadhus now. 1 little damaged one, but we´ll see how s/he performs.

setup for the veg chamber or bloom?
i guess veg, so here are the facts:

upper etage: 3 x 18w coolwhite 1 x 18w warmwhite:

8 indoor mothers are below (and the sadhus at the moment)

lower etage: 2 x 18w coolwhite:

there is space for rootet cuttings and 1 greenhouse. the sadhus will be put in there when my new grow has stared and the cuts are moving in the bloom closet.

the air/heat problem is solved by 4 pc coolers. they are switched on when the temp gets over 24°.

next pictures when the new grow is in the bloom closet and the sadhus are in the lower etage.

some time is over

the first cuttings were taken on friday. i expect them to root in about 10 days. medium is oasis.

the mothers will soon be put into flower. the male be killed, the cuttings when rooted will be the new mothers.

when i have found my indica i will do a sadhu sog in winter

the cuts are shortly before rooting.

so i am thinking about the sexing. i dont have space at the moment in my closet, so what? i was thinking about putting the plants in the garden, sun hours are the moment about 14, so i think they should show sex, what do you think mike?

after killing the males i will raise the female mothers and then select my mother by putting some clones into flower. (in a new closet then for 80% sure).

do you think that works or would you make something different?
